This is biased... you are posting this in the Disciple section, which will most likely give you a biased results... post it in the general disscussion forums.
Try using the search box, i've seen this kind of thread once...

edit:
scout
Pro:
ranged atk
combination of fast and strong atk (but slower than a neo and a little weaker than a mage)
low use of mp(scout's main atk is only using 4 mp)
high WT
fast lvl (at least i think it's pretty fast)
Cons:
cannot buff others
cannot take too much dmg
lack of variety of skills (mainly windblow and ankle binding)

Disciples:
Pros:
-Best of both worlds
-Possibily best Soloers in SoS
-Heal and Decent armor
Cons:
-Neither skill is as good as Aco heal or Squire Str.
-Quite hard to get to

in relation to best builds... in parties are all classes relatively sought after?
what i mean is, if you were to make a party of 3-5 for example, aside from a healer (acolyte/priest) what would parties look for? this is for higher level, like 60++
i want to make a templar or priest but i'm a bit apprehensive as to what to get because i don't want to invest time in a char that will be useless to parties on higher levels...

I perfer to solo all the time, so Disciple is my favourite. Plus, Templar armor looks uber!
