You can find a manual patch here:

Also, if you know you are compleatly up to date with all your versions, outspark has recently developed a slight bug where you are told you have an obsolete version even though its fine.

Please send all information about your computer to a GM if this is the case, along with the description, to help them fix this problem.

Thanks, I hope this helped~

Ive tried all of those things on that thread and it doesnt work. IM really confused! I just want to play the game. I followed their instructions to see if i could get the patch to work. do you just open the patch, let it install, and start the game?

I've been struggling on and off for two days now to get Fiesta running in Windows XP x64 through VMWare Server under Ubuntu 7.10.

The automatic patching wasn't happening, so I just started trying all sorts of stuff. Not sure if this first step is necessary, but anyone who gets the 412 obsolete problem, try navigating to where you installed Outspark and just run the outspark.exe. (ie. dont use the shortcut which appends --run fiesta). You might see a message 'Cleaning up...'... it seems to run for a LONG time, I grew impatient, and cancelled it.

I had also happened to run the Outspark diagnostics tool, and noticed it detected my machine as Win2003. I then created a shortcut to outspark.exe, added the --run fiesta, and set compatability mode to Windows XP, and when I clicked that, it actually downloaded and installed the patch!

w00t!

Of course after installing the patch, the popped up window crashed when I clicked on details, then the launcher window went into its 5-10 minute 'cleaning up...' which I cancelled again.

Now I'm past the obsolete error and it looks like the game is loading!

zomg!

(edit: it does load, now I have to figure out why my 3d acceleration in vmware is bombing and all i see are empty white windows... same when i run the tests in dxdiag.)
