Wheel_of_Time Recruiting and Guidelines

We are no longer recruiting for the Wheel_of_Time. We are full. All spots went within a matter of a week.
We will post when random spots open. Thank you everyoen for applying.

1. We obey all terms and conditions of Outspark. Any failure to comply with these will have a cause/effect on your membership. Effective immediately you will be banned, cause we can. If you don't know where Outspark stands on certain issues, you better read up before applying...I already have.

2. We will monitor for inactive members. Any 2-week period (without letting someone know prior to your absence) with no log in will put your account into "notice" mode. After 1 more week of inactivity, without speaking to an overseeing member, you will be banned. We intend to keep a functioning active guild for party/war purposes, so we will watch this closely.

3. Rude behavior to others, inside the guild or out, will NOT be tolerated. Period. There is no room for discussion. (Sarcasm is not rude, it is expected. I am the king...de-throne me if you can. *grins*)

4. We expect all members to participate in guild chat. We can't make our guild better if you don't offer your voice...err text. We will be offering contest and prizes in the guild, so your participation there would also be warranted. This area, however, does not impact your membership, it is noted just so you know, and we encourage ideas and input.

5. Admin decisions are as final as mine. No questions. I put faith in my appointed leaders. However, if you feel that you are being abused and the admins are refusing to help, please whisper me with details. New guard and council members will be voted on occasionally. Few positions there will be fixed with limited exceptions (founding members).

What we offer:

1) Friends. This is the first and most important aspect of this guild. You will find people that are eager to help, eager to point you in the right direction or instruct you accordingly in most areas of this game. We will get to know you, get under you skin, and basically, become the family you always wanted or not.

2) Contest. I will offer contests from time to time that will allow members to make silver. There will be contest based off class, levels, and random hunts that I concoct. Be warned. I have a very active imagination, and these could get fun. There will be various levels of awards, according to the difficulty of the contest.

3) Guild storage. We will be storing mass amounts of pots, scrolls, weapons and such for the guild, and for contests. We will need your help in gathering products for production. There will be silver to gain for your help.

4) Improved weapons. Most of these will be leveled (+1 to +3) weapons that I will do at my expense. These will be awarded by class in certain contest, but in certain situations (my judgment call), we will offer them to certain members based on need and availability.

5) Active help. For the most part, you should always have a guild member on to party with. Or for help. This is the seondary basis for our guild.

Basic duties on the guild leaders:
(this section will change and be modified as the guild grows)

Guards:
1.Handle request for items from storage. Do not bombard the guards with request. Someone will approve or deny your request, with a reason.
2. Report inappropriate or rude behavior to guards.
3. Most game related questions, the guards could handle.

Council:
1. Suggestions for guild improvement. Ideas for contest.
2. Complaints related to contest or guild. NOT member complaints
3. Extended absence reporting. Please contact council.
4. Game related questions are also passed here.

Admins:
1. Member complaints.
2. War questions, suggestions.
3. Issue storage items.
4. More game related help here.

Master:
1. All of the above. I am neither above nor below anything anyone else can or may do. PLEASE try to use an appropriate channel first, but otherwise I will help in all areas listed.

This will be an ever-growing manual I am sure, as I typed this in about 4 minutes. But these are the basic guild guidelines. I hope to see you in the guild soon! Please post a brief introduction and game id if you wish to apply to the guild. Thank you!

Our first contest, while a little slow to get started was fairly successful in it's completion.

Contestants had fun, enjoyed the challenge and won some great prizes.

Last nights competition was only open to level 20-25 due to the nature of the contest, yet we had a great turn out in it, and AWESOME support by some of our higher levels.


Before I go any futher, I want to post a very special thank you to Admin Kamahli for his donations and Guard Rabidfanboy for his donations. Not only did they donate items, they donated their game time to help run this contest.

Welcome all WoT members!

I am Rensha the trusted Magus of our Guild.
I enjoy leveling and collecting Silver pieces.
I enjoy this game and am still learning much. I have not been a participant in our first guild war (grrr) However I am looking forward to showing off my death skills for all.

I am on a mission to reach level 40, and after that I'll be missioning to level 50. When I am not Playing with Katt (our more Luscious Admin) I can be bothered for helping those newer members to the game.

So we are here for each other to offer the opportunity to conquer our own abilities and these crazy mobs together. I encourage everyone to be silly and have fun and really help out our small community.

I would also like to add that It would be great if we could all put in some materials for the guild. We could develop a stock of potions, scrolls, and stones. I myself would like to purchase some store items to upgrade all our member's weapons so we can be effective in Wars. So lets make the most of our materials after you replenish your stones. (:

This is for all of the guild. We will be doing a mass party on Saturday, February the 16th around 4:00pm CST. We will be doing 5 party teams and venturing into the far reaches of CP. If you wish to participate, be online at the appointed time.

ALL ADMINS, COUNCIL, GUARDS are requested to attend if you can. Teams will be comprised by level and by class. You will be partied fairly, however, my choice of party mates is final. There will be a reason why I will choose who I choose.

We will leave as one, party as one, even though we are seperate teams. It doesn't matter what we attack, who kills it etc. Someone from Wheel will reap the benefits.

Parties will be run by the person I choose also. They will be expected to keep the party in sequential allocation at all times so that everyone has a chance to gather loot. If this person loses party leadership for whatever reason, the new leader is expected to give it back on their return. No exceptions.

PLEASE BE SURE TO STONE, POT AND EMPTY INVENTORY BEFORE YOU LEAVE. WE WILL NOT STOP A PARTY TO LET YOU RUN BACK TO TOWN. THIS IS ALSO NOT A FOLLOW ME PARTY, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PULL YOUR WEIGHT.

We will run for a minimum of one hour. If we decide to go longer, we will.
Please meet me in the empty area behind the horse stalls for party matching. (less chance of lag and others interferring while we match up)

We have not had many donating as of yet and we need to get pot, scoll and stone materials stored so we don't have to pay to get these items. Finally, yippe and goody goody.

Guild storage is finally up and operating. Kattmagic and Kamahli have contributed a tremendous amount of loot to the storage already. Storage consist of weapons, armors, jewelry and materials, pots and scrolls. There is a ton of stuff there...all for the taking. In moderation.

The guild storage requires a two party system to activate. Which means, an admin has to be present. This is for our own saftey as an open inventory could be robbed blind. I don't think any of you would do that, but lets err on the side of caution.

We will be building a spreadsheet of available inventory, and posting at a later date for you all to see. This will include silver eventually. There will be a limit on what you can take. I am working on a system now, (very complicated yet fair), to what will be allowed to each member on a week to week basis.
If your request is denied for a particular item, there will be a reason given. It could be for an upcoming contest, etc.

We hope you will all take advanatage of the storage system, and we will will post storage "Reps" in various towns. Please understand, we will only log into reps when there is a mass need for material or storage. We have to leave our game time to do this so we need your patience and understanding if we don't just jump over to storage.

Tonight is the night of the Guild grind fest!!!

We will be having a grind fest in CP tonight for the entire guild!!! This is your chance to party with a member of the guild, make a friend and learn your strengths and weaknesses. There will be great experience, and, you know me...a few surprises along the way.


~Rules~
1. Must meet at the appointed time. There will be an one hour window for signing in. The hours are 4-5 CST. The grind will start at 5. Please be there to sign in and for party matching.

2. Party leaders are Kattmagic, Rensha, Farashim, alexK, Rand_al_Thor. Depending on the number of participants we may pick up or drop one party leader. I will choose you up by teams and levels. This is my decision and it is final. I will however consider request to party with certain party leaders if you have a preference. So be early if you have a preference.

3. Contest within the grind. Everyone was told a contest was in the grind, here is your true contest. (yes I misled you intentionally, you aren't supposed to know before today BWAHAHAHAHA) Silver bars. The team that accumalates the most silver bars, will win an additional 10 silver each contestant. All bars must be turned into your party leader to qualify. The bars will then be divided among your party (win or lose) and winners recieve an extra 10 silver. There is the poetential to win a lot of silver as I see lots of silver bars dropped in CP.

ex for full 5 party team: if you turn in 20 bars and lose..each member gets 4 bars (equivelent of 4 silver). If 20 bars wins, you get 4 bars +10 silver returned.

4. You must stay together as ONE group. No matter how many teams we have, I want every team in view of the other at all times. This is for the protection of the whole group. Some of our members are lower level and we can't scatter across the board. Stay together, grind together. This will be a great time, but won't be if all you do is die. Teams are expected to fight and support each other. Drops will be drops.. but we don't want our teams dying.
Pull your weight teams. I will be watching.

5. No ks'ing non-wheel members. If someone else is fighting in an area we are moving through DO NOT kill steal these players. Anyone caught kill stealing will first be warned, then ejected from the party. The Wheel name will be all over CP and we want to make a good impression, show them why our guild is the best!

6. As always, my decision is final in all matters. No room to negotiate.


~party leaders~

1. Your primary responsibility is too your party. Guide them, direct them, make sure all of the hosted parties stay together. You are also responsible for fair play. Any of your members caught cheating/ks/any other infraction we know is wrong, it is your job is to remind them, warn them, eject them. As long as I am informed as well. (I will be in the area monitoring/pwning as well hehehe)

2. You MUST keep the party on sequential allocation. I want everyone getting as much loot as possible. We don't want anyone left out.

3. You are responsible for collecting silver bars. Keep this inventory and turn it in to me at the end of the contest.

4. As always, my decision is final. No room to negotiate.

That is the general rules everyone. I hope you turn out! I have also lined up a special secondary surprise that will help in this venture...You have to be there to see. Final thoughts on this: EMPTY EMPTY EMPTY your inventory. Fill your stones to overflowing..as many pots without clogging your inventory you can get...This will be a long, hard grind. With lots of drops. so make sure you are ready to party!

(Immediately following the grind we will start a wheel dance party at kid woz! As usual...lets see how many we can get to join us!)

And as soon as I can speak with Ran I would like to hold an event for the whole guild. Also I have a few suggestions for the guildies... I know it sounds funny coming form an admin but I was thinking a WOT staff appreciation. I would like one guilder's to establish the rules for this and take charge of keeping the votes organized. This is something that would be at their discretion. Don't worry about not having silver or items to give to the level 40s i'm sure they will appreciate anything you give them and I too will help raise any contributions (ok so yeah from an admin I will exclude myself as a choice for a nominee

My behavior about 3 days ago or something was really bad o.o. Psy told me to stop complaining about luminas...and i ignored that statement...still talking about lum. I was banned after saying "lum thinks shes so superior to me". i just wanted to let EVERYONE know im really sorry...and i mean it because whats the point of rejoining if i didnt?

:rolleyes: There are times I hate ie (this is one of them) since this is yet ANOTHER attempt to do this post. In the past week our guild has had its first 5 people reach level 60 and get their "official titles" after the job change :D. I managed to get screenshots of the announcements for both lvl and official title (except for Farashim reaching lvl 60 :().

Two days later after the server check Higurashi and I went to CP1 to do that last little bit to get to level 60 and to finish quests. I actually got to lvl 60 first but Hig beat me doing the job change (silly me I liked zombies so much I did them twice and I had to do the heros twice as well xD)

About 4 years later (really only days but oh it felt like forever) our fearless leader finally made lvl 60.

Hmmmmm since Kamahli was 4th for reaching lvl 60 but 5th for the Job change and BringOutYourDead was 5th for reaching lvl 60 but 4th for the Job change they are actually tied for last place at this time :p

1 thing you should know regardless:
We operate by the TOS of Outspark. Period. Anything less than that will get you on suspension, probation, removed from the guild and reported, depending on the infraction. I suggest you also read the TOS if you haven't. I have.

My personal rules are secondary, but just as important. What are they? READ THE FIRST POST.

We don't tolerate being rude to guild mates, other players or guilds. We party internally, we party with others. We are ACTIVE. Inactive players will be removed.

So, with that said: Level 30+ leave your name here, you will be contacted by an admin and/or myself for a preliminary interview. Any questions you have and several we have can be answered at that time.

We have a few spots available. Recruiting level 30 to Cap. If you are interested, please apply here (ign:time on normally:class:level) or contact ANY wheel member and they will be glad to take your name. Please be sure if you apply here that you type your IGN exactly as it appears in game. Hard to whisper you if name is incorrect. (this has happened)

1. We obey all terms and conditions of Outspark. Any failure to comply with these will have a cause/effect on your membership. Effective immediately you will be banned, cause we can. If you don't know where Outspark stands on certain issues, you better read up before applying...I already have. Infractions of serious nature WILL be reported to Outspark Staff. We have a zero-tolerance policy in Wheel.

2. We will monitor for inactive members. Any 2-week period (without letting someone know prior to your absence) with no log in will put your account into "notice" mode. After 1 more week of inactivity, without speaking to an overseeing member, you will be banned. We intend to keep a functioning active guild for party/war purposes, so we will watch this closely.

3. Rands Rules:
a) Rude behavior to others, inside the guild or out, will NOT be tolerated. Period. There is no room for discussion. (Sarcasm is not rude, it is expected. I am the king...de-throne me if you can. *grins*)
b) Do not beg for postion, for wars, or items (ie: weapons, silver etc). This is not tolerated in the guild as it causes harsh feelings. We will war/promote/issue as we see fit. Asking repeatedly will delay/deny any request you have.
c) Rand is the master. Period. Anything besides the TOS rules which he founded this guild on is his call. Admins, council and guards understand and support his rulings. DO NOT TRY TO SUPERCEED HIS OR HIS OFFICERS AUTHORITY. It will get you banned. (ie: If one admin says "no", don't ask another.)

4. We expect all members to participate in guild chat. We can't make our guild better if you don't offer your voice...err text. We will be offering contest and prizes in the guild, so your participation there would also be warranted. This area, however, does not impact your membership, it is noted just so you know, and we encourage ideas and input.

5. Admin decisions are as final as mine. No questions. I put faith in my appointed leaders. However, if you feel that you are being abused and the admins are refusing to help, please whisper me with details. New guard and council members will be voted on occasionally. Few positions there will be fixed with limited exceptions (founding members).

6. Membership requires a brief interview with a minimum of 3 members of my staff. If you are not willing to be interviewed before joining, don't apply. This is a required step. IF one member of the interview committee votes "no", you will be denied membership, and offered an explination as to why you were denied.

What we offer:

1) Friends. This is the first and most important aspect of this guild. You will find people that are eager to help, eager to point you in the right direction or instruct you accordingly in most areas of this game. We will get to know you, get under you skin, and basically, become the family you always wanted or not.

2) Contest. I will offer contests from time to time that will allow members to make silver. There will be contest based off class, levels, and random hunts that I concoct. Be warned. I have a very active imagination, and these could get fun. There will be various levels of awards, according to the difficulty of the contest.

3) Guild storage. We will be storing mass amounts of pots, scrolls, weapons and such for the guild, and for contests. We will need your help in gathering products for production. There will be silver to gain for your help.

4) Improved weapons. Most of these will be leveled (+1 to +3) weapons that I will do at my expense. These will be awarded by class in certain contest, but in certain situations (my judgment call), we will offer them to certain members based on need and availability.

5) Active help. For the most part, you should always have a guild member on to party with. Or for help. This is the seondary basis for our guild.

Basic duties on the guild leaders:
(this section will change and be modified as the guild grows)

Guards:
1.Handle request for items from storage. Do not bombard the guards with request. Someone will approve or deny your request, with a reason. (guards report request to admins.)
2. Report inappropriate or rude behavior to guards. (in guild members...outside complaints should be reported to the members appropriate guild or GM)
3. Most game related questions, the guards could handle.

Council:
1. Suggestions for guild improvement. Ideas for contest.
2. Rules and Regulations questions. Either TOS or Rand's, they can answer both.
3. Extended absence reporting. Please contact council.
4. Game related questions are also answered here.

Admins:
1. Member complaints. (keep this private, and screen shot convo)
2. War questions, suggestions.
3. War applications. Admins handle all war apps. Ask once, only once.
4. Issue storage items. Deposit storage items.
5. More game related help here.

Master:
1. All of the above. I am neither above nor below anything anyone else can or may do. PLEASE try to use an appropriate channel first, but otherwise I will help in all areas listed.

This will be an ever-growing manual I am sure, as I typed this in about 4 minutes. But these are the basic guild guidelines. I hope to see you in the guild soon! Please post a brief introduction and game id if you wish to apply to the guild. Thank you!

To my guildies and those that know me in one of my many froms:

I am going to be suspending myself from the game for a while. I have personal issues that need dealing with, and quite frankly, game time has been distracting me from real life concerns.

I leave the guild for the time being in very capable hands. My admins can very well run it without my guidance, I am sure. They know where I stand on certain issues and I trust them completely. Please give the admins as much help as possible. I will stop in, on limited basis, as soon as I can.

(for the record: I am Rand, Matt and Perrin, and generally play as close to in character with their attitudes as I can. Maybe I am a bit too deep into Wheel.... but respect for the characters and for Jordan's(RIP) creations, I have got too.)
