I just became an Acolyte, I am lvl 16, but I don't have any skills anymore how do I get them?

You got the skill books from the same npc that made you into an acolyte, same with all the lvl 16 equips for aco (including one aco brooch).
In order to learn the skills, just use the books as any other consumable.

These kind of things happen because people tend to rush the game instead of paying attention.
Just enjoy the game and take your time to understand things and you probably won’t really need to ask stupid questions anymore =/
