Little known fact: there is a limit on signatures. Only one image can be in 'em, and only 500 characters other than HTML stuffs are allowed. The "problem" is that there is no limit to the image size. Its not been that bad, though, since its usually frowned upon to have too big a sig.

i think centrix sig is about the biggest i like seeing, because anything bigger is just taking away from posts imo

To be honest, I think my sig is a bit too big lol.

Sigs are usually smaller than 500x350, but people on these forums like to use full-size screenshots as sigs... -_-

There is a limit now on size.

It used to be that large signatures could "strech" a post, similar to large pictures- this got changed however.

Outspark staff understands your concerns. We also recognize the importance to our user to have this extra room in your Sig. In the short it is a hard balance if you limit it too much people will complain and if we don't limit it enough then it is hard to read the forums. What is the better option is really up to the community. I am sure if we got enough people asking for a lower limit outspark would accommodate us.

Trust me - I am ALL for a maximum size... how about this? (1, edit your above post to rmeove the pic LOL) change this thread into a petition thread - add a poll, ask 1: if ppl agree to a maximum signature img size yes or no, and if yes add 3-4 maximum img sizes. Let the people speak and then we'll get that info the the admins and see if we can effect a change.

How's that sound?

i try to do something thats good for everyone here, 99.9 all great forums have sig size limits on txt and pictures in it. its not as bad as it used to be i grant that, but sometimes u see a sig way to big, :)
