Unofficial Rules that should be applied to Battlefield:

None for now.

Until someone can convince me otherwise, i will not add any rules here.

Since i've seen alot of post against no rules battlefield... here is my POV:

BattleFields = Place to Battle

There should be no rules in there. The fact that you cannot talk just shows that its not a place to "discuss" before a fight. Shroom killing? Spawn killing? Ganging Up? KS? Unlike GW, I think they are ok for BattleFields.
Unlike GW, once you initiate combat, if you wish to stop fighting, you simply need to go out the door and you're safe while in GW, nowhere is safe. Spawn killing is NOT possible. I've tried it and since there is an idle time, anyone can easily go out the portal...
Unlike in GW, you have the choice to fight or not (not, being not going in there).
Unlike in GW, ther are no Vendors or such that are AFK (if you're AFK in the battlefield, you're asking for it :P )
Unlike in GW, there is a level limit: level 50 cannot be fighting with a level 10...

Like the other said, it will never be fair. If u find it to be unfair, then make it fair (level up outside before going in, or equip yourself properly (scrolls/stones/+9) or bring your whole guild in there! )

Battlefield is a fun place to simply go ballistic with all your skills without any restrains... If no rules does not register as fun to you, then i would suggest you do not participate in Battlefield and do GW instead, where numerous rules governs the event.

To make it alluring, dev have made the place with special drops (until now, ores and L/B stones) and a little more XP.

Hence, you go there to grind at your own risk: being killed not only by Mobs, but by players too.

Players will fight you to:
A: test out their skills / fighting abilities
B: pure fun
C: They want your grind spot
D: They want to annoy you, AKA troublemakers

Unlike outside, fighting for spot in battlefield is perfectly fine, since we are talking about a place where drops are special and a place made for fighting! Competition occurs, this is normal.

Last thing though, the ganging up problem. Now in my POV, ganging up in Battlefield is ok. This is something that we naturally do anyways (if this is not allowed, how would you kill a higher level? I mean, its the same tactic used to kill a boss...)
The problem is: it is too easy.
I don't know if anyone can confirm this, but from what i read, Fiesta in other versions do not allow things in the battlefield such as:
A: Party
B: See the names of other players

Hence, like most of the other features in this game, I am unsure if this is intentional or its a bug.

Why i think it is so: When you go into the BF, if you are in a party, you cannot enter the BF (but once your inside, you can party again?!?)
When u fight other NPC characters, you don't see their names (but you see the real players names? while you cannot chat? I know i know, u can wisp, but i dont think you should be able to see the wisp names either...)

Hence, if No Party and No Names is in place Ganging up will be harder. What I mean is: since you cannot see ur party members, you will be confused and end up maybe killing them :) Furthermore, Clerics wont be able to heal their party members like it is now, making the fights alot more "even". In fact, even for "D: annoy you" would be harder, since you're not easily recognizable.

KS? Then simply eliminate that Kser first :)

In sum, until someone can convince me why we should make rules for Battlefield, then i will say no to rules.

I dont think there should be rules in PvP areas

1) Only the admin/master of a guild can decide to Guildwar. The members of the guild, and the other guild you are guildwarring can not accept or deny the guildwar, they HAVE to fight, because they have no choice.

2) You can decide if you want to enter the PvP areas or not. You have a choice: enter, or don't enter.

If you decide to enter the BF, you know what can happen. It's the risc you take.

if any form of chat would be disabled PvP areas would suck cuz it would be majorly boring.

No the point of battle fields is to have a no rule battle between one or more person(s). By having rules it defeats the entire purpose of a battle field. Therefore even though it may seem unfair it is only fair enough without rules.
