what is "buff" and how can i learn or get it?

A buff is either self or party. Archers do not have any buffs. Clerics and fighters I believe are the only ones with buffs. Normally people will go around asking for a 'buff' which is a level 47 cleric skill that increases hp and sp +500. Other types of buffs pertain to scrolls like vitality, defense, aim, etc.

Well Mages can buff too, ive seen some skills in uruga where they buff themselves..
