Major Issue(people Have Been Offended)

The recent event involving the lunar New Year has offended quite a bit of people, the streets should have been lit up sparkled amazing and all that other good stuff , but instead it was a dark,eary apocalyptic scene with giant rats running across the city and when u die from them you lost your xp must i even point out the problems here outspark? you've offended a good many people that night and should be ashamed

i wasnt there but that sounds horible Oo not really the best idea they had

Well I did find it to be a pretty disappointing map since there weren't much to do.
and well they did it for a reasons
It was supposed to be Past Bryn. They are trying to connect the piece and tell us a story here lol

I'll admit that it was very disappointing. As for offended, not really.(least not for me) and I don't think that a single Xen Stone dropped in the lunar xen event, in fact everyone just quit when they saw the rats with crowns. Which is probably why they then decided to invite the whole server to that map and exterminate all the rats with crowns that were left over. In fact the only thing I liked about that whole event was the chance to talk to Adeline (she's very nice). and if it was supposed to be the "Past" Brynhild which the NPC's all said, then why did rider specifically say "Okay let's go back to the past." right before he teleported us all back?

Nope there was nothing, Just kill then run around. I go to the Xen Continent though with a few other people. It was pretty fun, a bunch of rats and more monster and a weird looking maze. (I should have explore more...too bad I died)

And yeah Adeline was really nice :D
She is very creative and fun to hang around with lol. Out of all the Gm she is my favorite so far.

And yeah that was pretty confusing...could it be that Xen will be like that in the future ?

even though im 1/8 chinese i was actually thinking the place was gonna be a chinese new year festival,but i think the outspark staff wanted to show Lost Bryhild because many players were hoping to see what the place was,as it is part of serveral quests

u guys realize that outspark being based in San Fransisco is an american company right?
And as such since america doesnt really celebrate chinese new year, it would be a given that they dont do anything for it. at least thats what i figured i could be wrong but its just not that big over here. I think its awesome however XD

haha yeah the new years was very disspointing. and i celebrate chinese new years too. and its usually a very happy new year. lol omg i ran ways from the rats because they were huge. omg they almost killed me. =.=

Anywho, I wasn't offended by this event at all. Like Kage mentioned, I think the game staff wanted to show off Lost Bryn to those who've been wanting to see it. And to explain a part of the "story" that goes with SoS. ^^. Sure we might have lost EXP there, but with the bonus this weekend, It makes up for it. (I lost an hour's worth of a 100% booster while I was there. Was pretty mad that I didn't get a xen and I lost around 25% in the process, but when Break announced the exp weekend, It sort of made up for it. xD).

As for xens not dropping, I know two people who got xens that night during the Pursuit of Xen before the party. (Elementaility & S4kur1t4). So yeah. Just be glad that this Pursuit of Xen was in a map that everyone could go to. (Not like the one from last time, where Rider had everyone run from one map to another. And people just KSing one another in hopes of getting that one xen from the map. lol)..

And if you guys thought Lost Bryn was dark.. I don't suggest going to the mines then. Even creepier music and it has zombies D:..

yep they would have introduced a new Staff member on the forums so we would know who they are like they did with eveyone else. I bet it was whoever lost the office bet that had to play her.
