Can't talk to characters

So I'm finally able to log into the game and got the quest to talk with the four guards but when I try to talk/click on the characters, there's a pop up about an application error and I'm not able to talk to anybody now.

i suggest for you uninstall the game. Delete the parent directory. Install the game again and everything will be fine now.

yeah i did that and went through the long update again (which took forever). but it still doesn't work... what i meant before was that: trying to talk to the north guard gave me an application error but if I delete the quest and log off then go back in, I could talk to others. But that doesn't help since I can't finish the quest unless I can talk to that npc.

what i did... first i deleted my charac ter create a new onw uninstall the whole game and delete the parent directory of SOS and registry also.. so it will be totally clean and reinstall the SOS again and took the forever updates.... tell me again if you have any news..
