enhancing a bow

so... i brought a +3/ap+4 lvl 67 bow (forgot the name of the bow) for 1.2 mil the other day, i want to know what happen if i fail enhancing it with one more xen stone... will you downgrade if you fail to enhance a weapon from +3 to +4? or you will just fail and nothing happen to your weapon?

You will just fail and your bow will stay +3.

Well going from +3 to +4 yesterday took me 3 stones. But dont worry because your bow cant downgrade, only when its +4 going for +5 can it downgrade.
