I wanna make a Archer and I was wondering what stats should I raise for the Archer ??

Dex is your chance to hit and evasion.


STR is for physical damage.

Is there a ratio you should focus on? For instance, 3 points dex for every 2 str or something along those lines?

Well I rerolled my archer the other day because I tweaked his stats so badly in my opinion.


What I am using now is a 2:1:2 spread.


2 str


1 dex


2 spr


The reasons I do this are simple. Strength is the physical damage stat. Be it ranged or melee. Dex is your evasion and chance to hit, Spirit affects your spell point total and also adds to your critical hit chance.


Thusfar I am quite pleased. The archer is not everything I thought it was going to be and is a tad on the week side when it comes to attack and range of attack but it is quite enjoyable. Remember, this is opinion and your milage may vary,

on my archer i go 2:1:1 (dex:str:spr)...at lvl 21 i have about 125 evade..and it is finally starting to be noticeable,theres been a few times i fought a yellow color mob and it missed half its attacks, doesnt happen as often as it SHOULD but still its startig to get alittle better





also once i hit 20 and started with a crossbow,that has an extra 2% crit rate over a bow i seem to crit ATLEAST once per kill,sometimes i'll crit 3 in a row and kill something before it walks 5 feet..i sitll feel archers need a boost,either in the range of thier attacks,evade or a skill with a pretty short cooldown and a high success rate "slow" effect

My Archers Build is +10Str +40dex

And im stronger than most fighter at my lvl =D

err spirit increases your crit rate? that's.. weird... lol o_O


they should change it so that dex increases your crit rate *nod*


and er, anyone have a chart or formula for how much spr increases your crit rate? .. that's just so weird thinking about it though lol.. of all stats, spirit? xD


And so far, I've been adding Str\Dex equally and a little into End (I'm still only level 12 at the moment, so 5 str\dex and 2 end xD)
