In-Game Zoom

Alright, number one, is there ANY way that you guys can compress the client download a bit more? 800+Mb takes a rather long time to DL. Most other MMORPGs that are free with the cash shop setup are 400-600Mbs.


And now the problem. When I am ingame the scroll on my mouse dosen't work, so I end up having to stare at the back of my character's head (which is zoomed all the way in) and not much else. The scroll works with other games where it serves the same function (zooming in and out). It is a wireless mouse that does require drivers to use. It's an IBM wireless optical mouse.


If there are issues with my drivers clashing with the game, is there a way I can assign the scrolling function to another button? The Ctrl key, maybe?


Also, as far as playability goes, a lot of people don't have the scroll on their mice, and so the options they have are to deal with the game as-is, go buy a new mouse, or just not play. And honestly, if there isn't a fix for it, I'm not spending $20 on a free game just to PLAY. Perhaps you could look at some of the other games (Flyff, SevenHearts) and how their camera works, and emulate that.

Also, when I bring up the HELP menu in game, I can use my wheel to scroll down the page. So I don't understand why if the application recognizes my mouse wheel, it still won't control the camera.

I'm not a moderator, but did you check to see if you have updated driver????

Yeah, I do have the updated drivers. I mean, the scroll works in-game in the F10 help menu, but not for the camera. >.> I've seen ppl with laptops have this same problem. There has to be a way to change the key or something. In Black and White I can change the zoom to shift or whatever key I want.
