Is archer a cool class to start with? Or is it hard to level like in a lot of other games due to lack of defense with armor?

you don't start as a scout you will start as a neophyte and then at lvl 45 switch to scout. if you get the right armor(extra stats if poss.) then scouts def. is fine.

strangely in this game all the defense depends on what you wear
so...no big difference

the only difference is that scout & apprentice cannot equip shields
but it's only +1~+6 difference

you need to get the 4 pendents(wich r really easy to get) and talk to reliath (incorrect spelling on name i think lol) and then change ur class by talkin to him
