i want to make a vid! HELP!

hey! as i said up there, i wanna make a vid ^^ can u please tell me what software u can use to do this and where to get it?

I use Fraps, but you have to pay for it. I hear there is a free version that films in black and white or something. Otherwise here are a couple of free programs i've heard of:

HyperCam
GameCam

Anyways, I only like Fraps, but I use the paid version. Even the free version is good though (your records are usually shorter than 30 seconds)

If you use Fraps I recommend you to have atleast 40-70gb of free space left on your harddrive, because Fraps records high quality avi, not encoded so the avi files are pretty big...

As I said, I never used them before but some people say they are a good alternative to Fraps.

I googled those programs and heres what I found:

I don't know if they are right, but they do say they are the official websites, so I assume they are the right ones.
