I would like to say thank you all for participating in this community event. We went through a busy week of nominations, then another frenzy week of voting. It went on for weeks but came to a final conclusion. These are your Official Heros of Xen:

Thank you, everyone. Especially to those players who believed that I can be a solstice heroine even if I'm only a normal player just like them.

Because of this event, I found out that there were people who saw some hero-like characteristics in my ingame character. This was after someone told me to check the new hero event, and to my surprise discovered my name in rider's nomination thread. I was hesitant to post any replies or whatsoever because besides from the shock "o.o! <-" , I just decided to go watch and see how things would progress, without influencing anyone with my posts. Honestly, I didnt want any form of politics to be born in sos, we have enough of that in rL. (and thank goodness that didnt happen and I hope it wont in the future hero events to come)

After all the gibberish that I have said, I just wanted to say that seeing how people gave their support, not only to me but to the other delegates in the event, I felt somewhat encouraged to do better! I want to improve my character more.. and I urge everyone to do the same. I think we all are heroes of xen, because I know that in the upcoming the calling event, everyone will participate and will fight for and defend the land of xen! Yeah, dont leave us in the front lines >w<!

I would like to say thank you so much to everyone who nominated and voted for me. I remember when this event started, i thought "Hmm that would be cool, to be a hero" I suddenly had 3 votes. I laughed and thought HA thats funny and thats all the nom's ill get XD but when i checkd the next day i had 10 votes o_o; OH MY!

When i learned that i was actually IN the running with the top 10 my mind began to race! Me? TO be chosen? :O Toru, the cottencandy disco santa claus?! It was insane XD The last day of voting scared me half to death with all the vote spamming XD but i still made it! I think of myslef as not being in 5th place but as one of the chosen!

I want to say now that I want everyone! and i mean EVERYONE to help us stand against Alastor and fight for a brand new world! We will rid ourselves of evil and prosper in a new light! We can make this happen! it was YOU who beleived we were hero's but a hero would be nothing without people to protect!

I have to say... this whole thing shocked me! I never expected to have so many of you nominate me and vote for me... to be honest, I'm just an ordinary guy, who lives an ordinary life... but I am honored that so many of you see something more in me. My many, many sincerest thanks to my friends and all of you who I talk to and party with each day

I would also like to mention that despite the 5 of us being named hereos, there are many other heroes who walk among you each day. Many of them are the unsung heroes, the ones who go without thanks or sometimes even notice, while there are others who do heroic deeds that are seen right there among us, for all of us to see. And to these people, you are just as deserving to bear the name hero as we are!

and to all of you, citizens of Xen, you have called for us: and like my fellow hero's, I will answer! We shall not let you down! Alastor shall not defeat us as long as we have hope, as long as we have faith in our fellow friends and party-mates!

If anyone was in Essene yesterday you might have noticed Alastor getting ready for the Awakening :O New monsters!!

I wish I had screenies to show you but I forgot to take some at the time.

The only monsters Identified were two

PIGS XD Im not sure of their names, i only caught a glimpse of a larger version of the pigs just north of CandyVault. Eyewitnesses say there were even larger pigs than that!

Other Eyewitnesses say they claim to have seen and Ice Giant too! We can only assume this is what will come! Let's stand together and fight these monsters!!! and save the world of XEN :D:D:D:D:D:D:D!!!!!!!!
