View Full Version : Chat Interface -vs- WASD Movement

This may not be a bug but just issues of the newest village idiot (me, of course).
If I chat/whisper with anyone I cannot go back to WASD movement. I am forced to ground-click to move until I exit and restart.

You have to hit enter to make the chat-box go away again.
This is really quite inconvenient, since I often forget I left the box on and keep trying to hit my quick buttons for skills and wonder why I'm getting my *** kicked.

You can also hit the ESC key to close the chat box. It's also not very convienient.*The chat box needs to go away after you send your text.

I found another option yesterday.
If you go into your game options and look on the right hand side you will see an option labeled "Command prompt" or something similar. Deactivate that and the chat box will work as follows.
Press enter to activate chat box input
type message and press enter
chat box input dissapears without having to press enter a second time.
EDIT: The above mentioned option is located within the Game options window on the bottom right.
