Ok as everyone probubly knows by now i was put in jail and i was upset about it but this is not about that.
This is about putting something to a stop.
Make it so when someone is put Jail all there premium items timer is put in a freeze state and does not count down.

Err actually, shouldn't people who actually have premiums items on avoid going to jail at all costs?
Oh well. Back to the topic, yeah they should probably put a stop to the premium item timer so that people don't waste money.

i read a thread similar to this one earlier, and i think it was a CL that had the reply of something along the lines of 'why should you keep premium items while you are in jail, because, in real life, if you were to go into jail, you wouldn't have any luxuries, and this is basically rthe same thing, you do something wrong, you shouldnt be allowed to freeze items, because then it doesnt deter people from doing the same thing again, because they know they will still have the prem items' or something to that effect anyway
and i have to say, i agree with this

I vote no. Because the person should have not of committed any behaviors to get themselves put in jail in the first place. So they hurt themselves when they made the choice to go against a gm's will and do something against the spirit of the game and the other players. This is only my opinion however.

Well we all know that you can be put in jail for some pretty stupid reasons so yes the timer should stop when you end up in jail. Trying to liken this with "if in real life you were put in jail" just doesn't cut it either. This IS NOT real life, never will be real life, its a game and always will be so reference to "real life" to justify actions in the GAME is a joke.

I agree with most of the people that said no. If you did something wrong, I believe that is a justice well served. You were placed in jail for a reason, so thats your punishment.

Here is my official answer.
No, they should continue to count down.
Why? Jail is punishment. Why should anyone who is sent to jail be given special rights? Sorry - but if you were sent to jail it was because you did something to deserve it and if you are unlucky enough to have an expiring item on you, tough luck; time does not stop for you merely because you are incarcerated.
I guess it comes down to this: don't go to jail and all will be fine.

A lot of people who buy premium items in games thing they wont get banned or sent to jail because they purchased from the cash shop. (ive seen enough people say "they wont ban me, I buy premium items")
Because you buy from cashshop doesnt mean you are loved by Outspark staff or deserve more right than other players that haven't purchased anything. Everybody is equal.

I think this one can be argued for both sides really. As there are unconsidered factors not yet discussed. And Ill give you my reason:
recently while my wife was playing someone called her a bad name, they called her a Dip(insert 4 letter word beginning with s and ending with t here) while personally i dont think this is too horrible of a word to say as far as I have heard worse. anyway needless to say she called him one back, about 30 seconds later she was in jail but the guy who originally had called her the name was not. the gm that sent her there teleported in to the jail right after she was. He asked why she used the word in which she explained he had aperently missed seeing the guy call her the name first and told her next time just to ss it pm it to a gm instead of saying it back, then he teleported her back out of jail..
now this is were my arguement comes in. After she was teleported out, she got d/c in elderine(big surprise there) upon reloading she was reloaded back into the jail with no timer, no gm, no one else in there and unable to use any of her chats, scrolls etc. Relogging didnt take her back out either. Luckly she could still get on her other toons which she did and was lucky enough to find said GM again and told them what happened. He came back to jail and teleported her out again( she was NOT supposed to have been back in there). Now if she hadnt got on another toon or been able to find a GM again so quickly without being able to use any chats to let anyone know what was wrong, who knows how long she could have ended up in there. And if she had premium items running I would say she would have a right to be angry, and in this case it would be very unfair.
How to seperate it from those that maybe do deserve it and those who end up bugged or do end up their by mistake( see it does happens) and im sure my wife isnt the first or last to get bugged like this or have it happen. In fact i saw another post in the bug thread with a guy reporting something very similiar happening to him with the jail.

In the virtual world, as in real life, innocent people get sent to jail occasionally. If there is such a case where the player loses time on premium items and can verify through a GM that the jail time was a mistake, then I would expect the establishment (Outspark) to extend the time on those items for that player on a case-by-case basis. This is something that again, as in real life, cannot be settled instantaneously. It is not a reason to have the clock stopped on the use of premium items for every character sent to jail.

First of all.
Dont repay in this same way as you been treated because in many times you will pay price for someone others missbehavior.
Like CLs said make SS of offenders acts, write date, time, place and name of such suspect(If he/she is a guild member contact heads of this guild and report them what was happend) and send all this infos to GMs.
Belive me soon or later they will take care of them.
There is of course also little extreme way to solve such issues... invitate offenders to BattleZone and there deal whit them.
