Petition for T2/T3 Scroll Recipe drop rate

When the new PVP zones came out (5x, and 6x zones, not the 1-79 zones), they dropped Tier 2 and Tier 3 Vitality and Defense learning scrolls, so that people could make T2 and T3 Vit and Def scrolls for everyone to use.

About 4 or 5 T3 Vitality recipes dropped on Apoline within the first 5 days that the zones opened. About the same number of T2 Vitality dropped, and only about 2 or 3 T3 Defense recipes dropped. All within the first week.

How many have dropped since that first week?

It's quite obvious that the drop rate was intentionally changed.
But why? why would Outspark want to keep the higher tier Vit and Def market dry?
That's what I, and I'm sure others who play Fiesta, would like to know.

Your thoughts? maybe we can get a GM response? Please keep this a clean discussion.

Well I've always agreed with your logic, Ally. From my understanding, the GM's always calculate such changes on the effect it could have on the economy. So they'd have some reason for it, that's for sure. Maybe you should direct them to your free vit[3]'s thread, so they see what you're trying to do, and how this change has made your goal of cheaper scrolls harder to achieve.

We all know what happens in the economy when there's too many rares--- price goes up and down all the time without there being a fixed amount of consumers and producers, and so on.

i say someon found or bought it to make, because i see sometimes people selling vit 3 in a stack or less, maybe they farm the quest lol, that wouldnt be worth it thou, or maybe the buy shop for less sell more

Yes, as you can see in Ally's original post, you COULD find it in the pvp zones, the higher lvl pvp zones. Let me tell you now, once you hit 60 its not hard to make money. But now these greedy people have found vit2 and vit3 production scrolls, which the scroll only costs less than 1s to make. Then they sell them for 8s. So each time they sell a stack of 50 they get 350s profit!! The rich keep getting richer... Now you can't find the production scrolls at all. We have not heard of any dropping.

The GMs keep the drop rate low the same reason they keep the chance of +9 enhancing low.

So everyone doesn't have one.

Personally, I don't mind that there is a low supply. Yes, people are charging a lot but T3s shouldn't be as easily found as say... T1s that everyone can get. If you don't like the price, don't buy them. I don't consider T3s/T2 scrolls a necessity that everyone has to have.

And plus, there are always nice people like Allnighte who will make some/sell cheap for you.

We didn't change any drop rates. Change in drop rates and exp rates will always be announced prior to change. Also, we will never lower the rates below what the game is designed by. Only the developer would make those changes (which they won't without notice to us).

they used to be rare now not so, u need to ask korea what happened please i am talking bout all the greens in CP SEG and so forth, because before i forget what patch they where a good rare drop, now anyone and everyone gets the drops

Well then what if poor people found the scrolls? Then wouldn't they have the chance to get rich? XD

In any case, I would prefer the drop rate to remain low. The more scroll-makers there are, the higher the chance scroll prices drop to ridiculously low amounts. Just look at T1 scrolls...everyone can make them, and so more people are willing to sell them at extremely low prices (like 80c each), making it more difficult to make money...(I used to need to vend for days at a time to sell of my T1 scrolls at 200c each >.<)

Furthermore, I don't see the problem in selling something that costs 1s to make. Consider first that people need to actually hunt a lot (if you're unlucky or lucky depending on the way you think about it) to obtain the said scroll.

Secondly, it can cost more than 1s to make due to competition between buyers of scroll materials.

Thirdly, what's the difference between those who sell scrolls at these prices, as opposed to those who find awesome green/BLUE drops and sell for greater than 1g each? I mean they're making pure profit...

Finally, it's not easy as it sounds to sell scrolls at 8s each. I've only recently gone into the T2 scroll-selling business, and it takes a very long time to sell out of my scrolls (sometimes they don't even sell at all)...and I'm talking about a stack of not even 40...

Then again, I'm selling Elderine, since I'm not strong enough to make it to Uruga ^^

IMO, I think they should just sell all production skills via NPC like the other versions. Then people wouldn't overprice things or whatever. Just a thought.

alot of ppl in this game are greedy it acctually funny to see some selling something it cost em 1s to make for 8x the profit yet if ppl stopped buying they would lowwer their prices as for drop rate low its intentionally low like blue itemdrop rate low so every1 doesnt find one tho to be honest probally be better if fame merchant sold it then u wouldnt have ppl trying to scam others selling the fighter skill as recipe scroll and wouldnt have the price hike like now think 1-3x profit should be enough:( not for most ppl it seems

well if Outspark didn't change it, the developers must have.
It's just too improbable that a single person can find two vit3 recipes within 2 days of the PVP zone opening, and then 0 for about 2 weeks - on top of several other people finding recipes the first week and then none after that week.

I think Outspark also said that level 6x greens should be dropping in the game, yet none have been found. There must be some miscommunication between the devs and outspark for these two situations to be happening.

I agree with Non-Existent I have spent days gathering the materials and/or purchasing materials to make the scrolls for my loyal customers. Many of you know me on the Apoline server as Sassy21! I am trying hard to keep my prices for my t1 scrolls down but the prices of the mats and the ability to find the mats myself is becoming increasingly harder making it more and more difficult for me to keep my prices down. I use to have suppliers and those suppliers are now almost non-existent. Except for a small handful who are still loyal. They have said the same things. Harder to come by supplies or the prices have raised dramatically making it not worth while.

Example is SBL is now in some places 50 copper and TL 20 (only takes one store to announce it and the rest of us are screwed so to speak) so to make a power scroll it would be 3 sbl and 3 tl so its 210 copper for one power scroll at that price competing against that one person. Who do you think the ppl are gonna sell there sbl to me who thought my SBL at 35c was good or that person who's sbl at 50 copper was good. That's why he sells his scrolls for 250 copper.

Yet i'm still battling to keep my scrolls below the 200 copper price for t1 and will continue to do so for the Apoline Server!

Speaking in terms of the new server -Epith - I don't think I've seen anyone with t2 vits and def. t3 vits are selling like crazy (not so much def) but the recipes are insanely hard to find. The profit margin there is much greater than other servers as a result of this.
