I have been thinking of doing this guide since I was a Predictor, but had no motivation until January when they had changed it to Disciple.

This guide was made to show you how to become a Disciple and basics in how it's used.(Pictures later for combat)

So you decided to abandon Jureah for Pollutance? Good. First you have to learn the basic requirements on how change class.

Basics for dummies:

The first, and most important thing is that you must level your Acolyte to level 45 or higher. Preferably with focus on INT, with some POW for the level 32 and 43 staffs.

Note: The full name of the gear is called "Firewood" further down in the thread.

Combat for dummies

Never, ever add any skill point into INT. Period.

Some seem to have more problem learning how to utilize the potential of this class from Acolyte to disciple stage.

It's okay. Everyone have to learn.

The basics of fighting as a Disciple is closecombat. No more kiting for your solo, just pure pounding for Pollutance. You get access to 4 skills from start if you changed at level 45:

- Force Blast

Your basic melee-attack. You attack every critter with this one. It may stun(like Shield Crash or Blindside) the target, but never depend on the effect will come when you want to. Don't get tired of this skill, you will usew it on single targets up to your level 130s.

- Brace Up
Makes your attack stronger. Works for fives minutes. Even if the boost is small, you will have this on all times.

- Protection
Makes your defense a bit better, boosts your likelihood to survive.
Works for 5 minutes, keep this on all the time.

- Assist Heal
The lover and life of this class, recover 240 hp split over 15 seconds on any friendly, IE human, target. This skill is what makes us truelly different from other classes.

With it we can last longer while potburning, taking several targets without running until it's neccessary. Always re-apply this when it start to run out. Remember, you have to target yourself to use it on yourself.

Shake mind is exlcuded, because it gives very little support outside pvp.

-Added in case of Faqs, misc and other stuff-

Faqs:

Q. Do I get a status reset?

A. Yes, you get to reset all points you didn't preliminary use for the step towards Acolyte.

Skilltree by request- Later.

Simple guide to fighting and what assist heal is capable of:

Find mobs that do 30-40 damage to you. This is where you wanna grind. You can survive 2 mobs at once with ease using assist heal. 3 is a problem if you just stand still, but if you kill one off right away it's no prob.

40-50 damage is doable as well, but more risky and not worth it imo (easier later when/if you add stamina).

Might try and add AH-kiting later along with that.(My monsters did about 20-40, but withn migration around 40-50)

I got an advice xD. I have seen many times newly born disciples try to solo areas that they used to party in when they were acolytes. Result? Death.
Soo after changing to disciple and if you want to solo don't do that D: - find some lower map to lvl in.

*Goes away before getting keeled by disciples*

I played as a Squire, so i know how to fight close... i suggest all to do the same, to have a feel at direct combat.

I reckon it would be better if they would kindly move this to the templar forums. So that it wont need to be bumped as much.

Like I stated: All skills you gained as an Acolyte gets removed. Illusion Quake, Bless, Fist up... every skill and upgrade you can get before Cleric if you have gotten that far.

Will update the pictures soon regarding Reliath and Reinmoth.(Might as well shuck in the 2+ wis necklace as well.)

You can store it in the Hotel which links to all your characters. (Vadar Hotel which is the map west of Brynhild and the hotel in Essene is at the southeast corner)
But MindBuster is a skill (Already at its Master Level) that is already given to you when an Apprentice is created so its only use it to sell it.

No differences beyond less time spent grinding as a Disciple and you don't have to hunt for the first sets with upgrades.

And of course more intense crash course on learning how to utilize the 9 skills you will learn at that point.

I'm impressed by the Guide. Just 7 of the longest levels left until I become the powerhouse that is Disciple. Just a quick question, After level 51, should I focus on Stamina? I might go Stamina, then Power, then Stamina, so on, so forth.

Baserule for any new Disciple is POW to maintain a good damage-ratio. You only add to this stat until earliest level 66 when you can AoE.(Applies to pretty much any class, since more hp and other stats aren't necessary before that point. You can wait until level 70+ if you want as well. Or when you change Templar.)

If you are concerned about survival, your gear and Assist Heal, along with Time Shield(later along with Burning Hand) will make sure you survive once you learn the ropes.

That is, if you avoid fighting multiple monsters at once dealing 50+ damage each too often. ^_^'

Necro, but to answer your question yes, when you change from an acolyte into a disciple your stats get reset. At lvl 45 you will have 40 free stats to play with, recomended you put all those into Pow, til then stick wiht int on Aco

I don't think necro is bad and anyway why don't a gm come delete all old thread or auto close it o.o

Trashknight

.... Uh, this thread, despite ancient, still serves a purpose, since little significant info have changed since CB. (An item or two might have changed for the class change) But frankly, necroing my old thread was pointless, since picture "K" answered the necro-question already. (Which is rare, considering in-game info is doubtful in most cases)
