Application Initialize Error

I get that after trying to start the game.





Says "Input Initialize Fail!"



Any ideas as to what happened?

Not yet, but let's check a few things. based on the similarity of yoru error to that another member is getting, I am going to ask you some of the same things:


Please check some things about your system and post back. Go to Start>Run>type dxdiag>hit OK.


Look on System Tab for:


Operating System


Processor


Memory


Page File


DirectX version


Check the Display Tab for:


Device Name


Driver version (6.14.xxxx.xxxx)





And - Were you in CB1?


Did you receive and invitation for CB2 and did you download the new client?


Also - What is the exact error that you get, and where/when does it
occur? (ex: you try to start the Launcher and you get an Outspark error
that tells you "Input Initialize Fail")


Standard Advice - make sure _all_ unnecessary applications are shut down when you try to install/run the game.

It doesn't have to do with my comps specs I think, I could play the game before that had happened perfectly fine, it just messed up yesterday for no reason, and I get the error after I input my account and password and press the "Play" button.


I was invited to CB2 and didn't participate in CB1, and I could play the game fine the day before it messed up.

And I all ready stated what the error message is, I quoted exactly what it says in my first post.

The usual reason something works fine one day and not the next is that something has changed.


Probably the first thing you should try is to completely uninstall the game and reinstall it from your downloaded client, and to make sure nothing else is running when you do.


Also, you are correct in that the problem is not likely to be related to your system spec, since you were running it fine before. However, from a troubleshooting perspective it is always important to know what you are dealing with before offering any suggestions...that's why we ask. :)

I ma recieving the exact same error message at exactly the same time... right after I hit play after entering my username and password...

I've downloaded it three separate times, uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded from a mirror, reinstalled, nothing ruiniing bladdah bladdah bladdah

same shiat

was not in cb1 or cb 2

or at leasst didn't get invites for anything... i dunno what build this is...
