hey everybody im new well i havent even been able too play my game on here yet because my thing keeps doing updates is there any way that i can play while its doing that please help me

Unfortunately, you won't be able to play until your client is updated to the most recent version. I'm assuming that you're running Fiesta, and if so, you can try doing a manual update. Go to http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31539 for information on how to accomplish that. If you're trying to play SoS, though, I'm not sure where you'd go for the manual update information (or if they even have the same problems).
