hi i bought the stat reset scroll and i think my defense might be glitched because i took the def down about 3 points and it stayed the same and when i brought it up about 5 points it still stayed the same it stayed at def 280 im not sure i might be wrong about this but please someone tell me if you think thats a glitch

free stat does not dmg, mdmg and def doesn't add to your total on stat screen. Is not a glitch, just how free stats works.
You will see the effect of free stats through the free stat screen.
The way how they work is on actual dmg or def.
If you put 10pts on END = 5 def. This 5 def works on actual damage, i.e. ANY mob will do 5dmg less to you; from slime to ancient stonie.
I am sure STR and INT works this way. Dmg or mdmg gained from free stats inflict fixed number of damage (depends on pts on INT or STR) on any mob. E.g. 25STR = 30dmg you do 30dmg extra to any mob from white to red.
I could be wrong about the END/def part, haven't tested it out.
