Hi everyone:

is the lvl60 mage skill from the shop which cost 10000fame usefull? what is the "chain cast" mean? I asked a 6X mage and he said it will ingore cool time and cast 1 spell twice at a time. so if i use magic blast with chain cast, i can spell 2 blast at the same time and only have 4 sec cool time? :confused:

You can get it from a quest after the class change quest.

Chain casting acts as a buff, so say I want to cast fear on two things, fear taking 90 seconds to cooldown.

I can use chaincasting, then cast fear once, and since the cooldown time is ignored, I can cast it again instantly.

I find it useful to use when I remember it is there XD!

I find the most common use for chain casting is dropping double frost nova or inferno. You have never seen a group of mobs die so fast.

Chain Casting essentially acts as a cooldown time remover for one spell cycle.

Say we cast Ice Bolt, which takes about 15 seconds to cooldown. If you activated Chain Casting prior to firing the Ice Bolt, you can fire another one straight away. Essentially, it ignores the cooldown time on the next spell you cast.

yes it does show up there im not sure on the cool time tho seeing as my mage it 52 FAR from 60

It is a 4 min cooldown time

Its used mostly for double fear or double nova. Also, in pvp its good for double buff remover xD
