Best time to use?

Time Shield. I just got so i haven't used very much yet, but it makes enemies run away or something? and is the effect broken by striking the affected mob?
I don't have a lot of time to play right now and its been bugging me so tell me how you guys use it
Is it as a pre-emptive strike right after you assist heal yourself before attacking a mob?
Or is it more during attack sometime, Or when you need to escape?

That's not it...
It more like confuse the mob for 3 secs. Sometimes they walk away (but slowed), sometimes they ignore it, and sometimes they just stand there. If you hit them they hit back. I hardly never ever use it when I solo. Helps when being mobbed in a group though (i dont get mobbed very often when i solo, and if i do, i run.).

It is used to make mobs run away AND lower their attack rate and skill rate. To make them run, use Time Shield then poke them once.

I use it like I did Spirit as an Acolyte, if that helps any o_O
