and when i delete it it says i half to have it to play fiesta.....apparently im gonna have to quite fiesta if no 1 knows how to solve this problem:mad:

well according to this. since it was last edited on 01-10-2008 this has been a problem for sometime now. This is the first time i have had this problem myself and seen this before. How can we fix this? Or get around it so we can log in ?

They removed it awhile ago because everyone was complaining, but they brought it back today in that latest patch...

All it did so far to me was slow the reaction time between keyboard press and resolve of the action taken. (heal now takes like 1.5 seconds to resolve, while enemies can continually hit like 2-3 times more by then, so clerics watch it)

I fear that Northern Arizona University's network access is going to be a pain in the butt soon and block my internet access soon, I'm really surprised it hasn't done so already.

Created a new topic for this, as my bug seems to be different, but for continuity in the thread, here's the text of my original post:

As of the newest update, whenever I get past the Outspark Loader, I get the blue screen of death and the entire computer crashes and reboots. I tried reinstalling the whole of Fiesta, and I've had no luck, so I suspect it's an internal problem with Fiesta. So apparently, unless this is fixed, I will have to quit playing Fiesta.

Running:
-Windows XP (SP2, I think. Latest one, whatever it is. I update when it comes out.)
-IE 7.0.5730.11
-ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Series
-Otherwise meeting minimum system requirements

Look. I can understand wanting to prevent cheating, but using some other crappy product that doesn't even work isn't the answer. >_> Design your OWN cheat protection and build it in. It isn't worth ruining ALL the legitamate players' experiences to guard against a few idiots.

It sounds like you need to be the main account on the Windows program to use it account to that. If your Windows has several user accounts, you will need to be on the main one (Admin).

Me too have this problem,since x-trap install I can play just for few min.then my windows(xp 32bit)crushes!I really love this game, and now just cant play it .Not using any third party programs(or maybe are... if Firefox is counted as one),only can imagine what is a bot,and now my sistem is jeperdise by that x-trap .
I have 2G RAM ,3Ghz Pentium 4, cable wire 512 and never have a lag (before x-trap).
What I see on this forum is is that admins. are deleting a lot of posts relating x-trap, trying to reduce bad picture on x-trap, and by that action mitigate the number of people affected by this problem.This is not helping - closing your ayes in front of the problem is not solving the problem.
Outspark should consider that this "safety tool" may cost them a lot of fans, and possible stop of future fan growth.

I just got the same problem. Everything was fine yesterday when I installed the new patch, but today, my computer suddenly kicked me off with that xtrap. Now I can only log in for about 30sec after I relog into my windows account before I get d/c'ed again. I hope they can fix this problem... if not, please remove it...

Interestingly though, I didn't have any problem with xtrap last time... so why am I having this problem now?

I swiped my computer and then restarted it. The game works fine now... But still want to know, what happened??

well i dont really know if this is the same problem but i can get in the game with my mole char but i cant get in to the game with my main char lvl 32cleric like it logs the char in but then it just freezes on me and i do crt alt dele and the games on not responding so is this got to do with X TRAP?

No, what they (the CLs) are trying to do is reduce the clutter from the people to ignorant to post in the 20+ X-trap threads already out there. The last thing we need is 20 more because people are to lazy to post in the appropriate threads.

I love it when people color the situation wrong. I hate having to correct folks but it seems I have to do such on a daily basis since the masses posting are getting more and more devoid of common sense.

I wouldn't say that. If OS had gamegaurd, you guys would all complain about the horrible lag that GG causes since it injects itself into every single process. Trust me. Xtrap isn't bad at all.

You need admin rights to run x-trap because it checks your system information. If your dad isn't giving you the password ask him to enter it and run Fiesta and after it you log out again...

There's no other way right now.

And if your dad doesn't want you to use admin mode at all he probably wouldn't want some program to check the system information to begin with, then it can't really be helped. :-/

If you can't press the login button it means that patching hasn't finished yet. Doesn't it display at the buttom of the window the progress of the patch download if you wait a bit? It the patch download stands still or is buggy, use the manual patch.

OK, this just prob. happend because you have linux, or windows vista.
These computer software run much differntly that either windows or apple.
Just try uninstaling fiesta. shutdown your computer wait 30sec. reload then re-download fiesta. if prob. still occurs. It's prob. an Admin update glitch.
Please be patient and the problem will be fixed soon. if not try doing what I said. ^^

The problem is that they keep churning out goodies and don't actually fix the problem at hand, which is being unable to play AT ALL. My computer shuts down, fully half of the fiesta population has the same problem. What greets my screen when I come on? Volcano house. Nice. That's a solution.

I know their jobs are tough, I know this, but when people can't even play and you're basically puting anti-hacker malware on a person's computer you're treading into the realm of complete idiocy. Get rid of it, guys.

Eh this is bull****, I remember fiesta back in the day when it first came out, i personally instantly fell in love with the game but quit becuase i found TQ Digitals Conquer Online a bit more exciting, but over time after u achieved lv 135 and ur full sup plus 12 it gets boring. so i try comming back to fiesta and yup you know it, ****ty xtrap bull**** hates me =/


The reason this is happening to you guys is becuase Xtrap isnt supported by Windows Vista.
You need a compaq, Gateway,apple,Or an mac to play fiesta now. i personally love the game but im not gonna spend 3000 usd for a mac ^^

Even if u have one of those. A mac is only one who can run stable.
Others will eventually start to BSOD you and get terrible lag.

I am having same problem, my skills take longer and even sometimes dont even activate when clicked forcing me to spam click. I've been a dedicated player,even playing in closed beta, spent hundreds on sparkcash, but GMs this might be it, the latest patch is killing us.

Just yesterday I was playing Fiesta and I had to reformat my computer for various reasons resulting in the fact that I needed to re-install Fiesta. Except this time when I re-installed Fiesta it did not work. I get a random pop-up, with no words, it includes and upside down question mark, an upside down exclamation mark, a period in center, an underscore.. or somewhat not uner since its at the very top.. and the number 2.. Either you live in the EU or Philippines and can't play OutSpark's Fiesta, or you need to update your video drivers.

I have an idea for Outspark. Maple Story has a cheat protection system called Ahnlab Hack Shield. It hasn't caused problems for me and there are millions of people playing that game. Plus, it's very efficient in its job as a hack shield. There is my advice to Outspark.

Xplay is not a virus. It's a program that protects you from getting hacked and for other various reasons. A CSR had made a thread abuot what XTrap is all about for Fiesta. Right now, I have made a thread in the troubleshooting section to see why Fiesta is not popping up for me to go on a server and to see if it is something on my computer that is making XTrap not allowing me to get on or that it is not XTrap and that it is something else. I like Xtrap. Better than to get hacked by a malicious program.

i know what to do, simply log on to your computers administrative account and play, if that dosnt work, re-install fiesta and it will be fine. That worked for me so i hope it helps you
