X-trap problem again

Everything worked fine until i got that stupid mesage Connection to servers has failed i tried to open several time when i find out that is x-trap is appearing everytime i open the Fiesta it seems that removal patch is not working and i can't find a removal tool for it or is o problem with servers need help im a fan of Fiesta:mad::mad:

I cant believe They brought back X-Trap after all the problems everyone is having with it, you only have to type "Xtrap" in google to see 1000's of pages of people having proiblems with Xtrap. The game was working fine without it, get rid of the damn thing.

well guess what. Xtrap only doesn't work with certain things a computer doesn't need. It works fine for over millions of people. And I play about 4 MMo's that use Xtrap. Noone has ever had an issue, Until fiesta used it. You can't get rid out XTrap it is embeded into the fiesta code. If you were to get rid of it you can't play fiesta.

This game wasn't working fine without Xtrap. You know all teh constant d/c, crashes, Lag. It prevents thrid party programs from running.(stops almost all bots) If you don't use them then u shouldn't have an issue. As for it making controllers not work. You still have a keyboard to use.

The first time Outspark put X-trap in, it did not stop or even slow down the bots or spammers, they were back on in under an hour. Seriously, I saw no change whatsoever in the numbers of bots or spammers. However, the re-implementation of X-trap is prbably just a stop-gap measure to try to stop the Bijou Hackers.

I have soem odd problems with X-trap too. It causes my chat to lag severely, making it look like this on screen: "Itlok smetin lk ts"

This only happens when I have a bit of lag, but still makes it really hard to communicate.

I hope they remove X-Trap soon. Game Guard is a much better program.

I just downloaded patch with X for the first time, i have no problems whatsoever in connecting or anything, and im sitting on mu neighbours wireless with 1/5 dots in frequency and i still manage to play without lagg och D/C stop complaining? atleast the hackers are gone? they fixed the problem you all complained about?
Be happy or stop playing the game for f*ck sake!

And if you do your research Xtrap is rated as one of the worse anti hacking systems on the market due to the fact that alot of companies that try it loose half their client base because they can no longer login into the games. If you notice none of the pay to play games use Xtrap they use game shield game guard or one of the better high end ones that actually do what they are designed to do. Also the reason for xtrap causing lag on your computers is unlike other anti hacking program xtrap scans your hard drive constantly (so yes this means it is looking at all your files). where as other anti hacking programs scan the game info to catch editing in the code or packets, which proves to be more effective. So do your research before you tell us to shut **** up. O and I forgot to mention that if you do not have an admin account on your computer Xtrap will stop you from playing because windows automatically prevents xtrap from accessing certain system files. so basically if it cannot scan every single file on your computer it will not let you play. talk about invasion of privacy....

I did not have any problems before they put that x-trap.Today it install itself during update ,well I can just play for a few min. then my windows(xp) crashes!
I did try to log of ,log in and it hapens every time.
I really love this game (playing every day over 6h ) , so I am despared.
Is there any cure for this?

Im using both, and i still play the game without any problems >_<

i have 1024 ddr2 sdram i doubt ram is my issue when it comes to the lagg on my laptop, or the fact that i pay for a dedicated drop to my house. :D

I went through my list and if I remove that one process I can play just fine. There might be others out there, you just need to go through and test them all out. And, yes, I do use xfire with xtrap and it works just fine.

I have 3 G RAM and 512 speed
Never had lagging problem...Not using any 3rd party software,and do not know even how to cheat(yes it is anoying when bots shouting same advertisement all over again, but if I cant play at all that bot problem is unessential.
After x-trap, I do have problem : rebooting XP windows after few min of play.
If you dont have problem like this,and not bodered with x-trap , just do not participate in this theme.
That vaunt over other misfortune is just mean.
We all love this game,and Outspark will probably response on a lot of complains about this.After all, this will probably stop growth of fan-market this great game are making.

the reason they re-implemented xtrap was cause nobody could play due to hackers dcing everybody, if you notice you dont get dc every 5 minutes anymore, cause xtrap stops the hackers, its not to stop spam but to make game playable, even if laggy, at least you can stay connected and vend. or run through town without geting dcd 10 times

ok... i don't know how many times i get this issue and the first thing i tell folks is to check your firewall. nSvcAppFlt is a firewall program.

folks... i'm sorry but Xtrap is not going away. furthermore, most of the problems related to Xtrap are user side. in other words, something on your computer is interferring and needs to be fixed... 99% of the time the problem isn't with us or Xtrap.

i encourage everyone that has issues to report them to us... but at the same time, research and troubleshoot the issue yourself... learn more about your computer and how it works. you may learn some interesting things :-)

botters, hackers, spammers.... these are all big problems that can ruin our game.

xtrap is the first step in the right direction to solve these problems.

however, the world isn't perfect. there is no "magic" button to fix things instantly. it takes hard work, trial and error. xtrap isn't perfect but as we continue to improve it, you will notice it less and less.

so i'm going to ask for your patience as we work out the bugs. after all, this is a beta... we still have a ways to go yet!

Oh and guess what bots are whispering us now... wow sure fixed the problem.This is a fact. :rolleyes: The last time it was put on as an update I had all sorts of issues, now I am getting mem dumps, lag that is beyond normal, freezing screen and motion whilst I die, dying when I still have 200 +pts left :eek: This program IS buggy.

****Just my $.02 worth, but if y'all would just listen to the talk, it wouldn't be that hard to figure the program is something that greatly interferes with legitimate players whilst your spammers, or bots, or whatever they are can get around it. ****
