KQ Treasure Boxes

Ok, this may have been posted already though I didn't see it. However, if not, here goes:


When I played the KQ for Mara Pirates and we won the first time through, I clicked my box, but it didn't give me anything. At first I thought it had just given me potions, as that is all I had in my inventory that would stack. However, all of my potions were already accounted for and I had also remembered that they didn't stack when a quest gave them to you, so you had to stack them yourself. All my other items were also accounted for. I thought my computer lagged or something so I waited a few minutes and relogged... Still nothing. I didn't think much more about it.


I created a new cleric and played in the King Slime KQ. One of my teammates said he didn't get his box because his inventory was full... That didn't suprise me... However, another mate replied that he had gotten his box, but when he opened it, he got nothing out of it.


So... is that normal or is it a glitch? I could understand so in the King Slime KQ sice you get so much exp, however, in the Mara KQ I got very little and I was only lvl 18. I realize the items are random, however does it also randomly not give you a prize?

Here's what I've learned from my experiences. This may not apply to everyone else but it works for me.


When you get a chest from the Mara KQ, wait until you get back to town to open it.


When you get a chest from the Gold Hill KQ, open the chest while you're still in the map before you go back to town.

I believe this has been changed from the last patch, items from chests are more rare now.


well i hope it will be changed if its a bug or something.

i have opened my chest in Gold Hill KQ and i got nothing for it.

Most people that have opened box in Golden Hill KQ have gotten nothing (at least for the ones I've been in) waiting till you get out is usually better. Then again I've had two empty boxes even though I waited till leaving the KQ.

Got a empty Treasure Chest from Mara KQ

guys this is bug i got it to when u open empy chest they ll write u massge but i got nothing -_- no massge and no items... that say empty box and i got it many times plz fix that

This has happened to myself three KQ's consecutively, frankly I think
it is wrong because I hear about some great prizes other people have
found that I likely would of had at least one of by now.

it is random and not all chests have items in them. lets go to another version of fiesta that is passed it CB phases and i believe OB as well. not all the chests there have items so it is random. if you want items then play in the KQ's more often. alot of the time i don't get anything but what i want more of i get and that is XP to lvl. that is more important to me at the moment. its like refining. all random

And you don't have to wait with opening until you get out of the KQ - today on Mara KQ i opened my box on the ship and got Sign of Mara Pirates AND Sign of Mara earrings, both of them.

ok i have successfully completed 5 mara pirate quest one of the five gave me a rare +3 sword that was the good one the other four times i won i got a empty*chest i will try again soon because i like the quest and the exp is good so i hope it gets fixed soon

Well , as you see . By many of the posts posted by the people above. You guys get empty treasure boxes. You might have to ask a gm why you guys get empty treasure boxes. Other than that it's probably a bug . If it isn't then it's probably like what one said a all for nothing or at least something.

Wow. This isn't a bug, that is how the KQ boxes work. Big whoop if you don't get anything, its not like there's only 1 KQ per day.

Also, some people just aren't very observant. I bet the lot of you didn't know that they give out MONEY, FAME, or EXP, too!

Bottomline, this isn't a bug.

i had the same problem and have yet to get anything from the chest from winning kq mara..... have wone 2 but have yet to get anything.. pl note it has not even said it was empy just nothing happened.

That means empty chest. That is normal for most of the KQs. Chest is not always an automatic reward.

one time i though i got nothing but after the quest i noticed i was geting 42 xp per kill on boogy so maybe i had an xp increase fo an hour or so? who knows lol

they don't need to fix anything.. it has already been said that your box can be empty.

I like it this way.. because there are far too many pricks with super fast connections getting the KQ's over and over and over again.. it's nice that every once in a while they get nada.

U all wanna know i get green +5 weapon in mara n king slime n my formula is after u open the box, put all the item given in the bank n when u kq again u will get another item. Coz when i kq at Golden i 4got to put away the pot from the last kq in golden n when i open.. nothing.ya i tot i got pot again but it was last kq pot, so beware of the item given n put it away in the bank n u will get more rare item. I got lots of bless n luky elru from kq almost 30 of them.

I understand you can get nothing from kingdom ques> But the last 4 mara kq I played i got nothing and when i finished the gold hill it gave me something then it disappeared and said some kind of rerror 1814 or something like that. So whats going on can the reward all of a sudden get taken like that

If u get in a MINI DRAGON KQ always open in the map i got 2 earrings with:100sp 100hp 2 critical rate and 1 evasion/i did them on the same day 2 lol :):p;)

Ummm...the same thing happened to me- it usually wud start to work after a few kqs

I just did a GH KQ and nvr even got a Treasure Box even though we won and i nvr died.
