money making

i just started playing a few days ago and i was wondering whats the best way to make money in the game? quests give a decent amount but im not familiar with the game to find all the locations and monsters don't drop all that much gold. any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Lots of selling!
Quests aren't really good for money until you get into the 30s or so (the "News About the Son" quest for example is repeatable daily and can get you 10k each time).
You can sell any normal equips you get to the NPCs, and sell +1/+AP gear to other players for more money...there's really lots of ways to go about it.

conserve pots.. that's all i got to say.. conserve pots... 10k just for 100 of them...

Kill mobs that have their name in white colour, the drop rate is lower if your lvl is too high compared to what you are trying kill. Though I dun know if the drop rate is high or the same if you are trying to kill red mobs

heres a tip man:
Just kill stuff and kill kill kill. If you can get drops from Router valley thru mystra, you can farm expensive items rather quickly. Stack them in your hotel, then sell in a shop. Also keep your eye open for cheap sell shop items, and if you see one you know you can sell for more, then go buy it and sell it for more.

well im not sure which items are rare, is there a chart on this site that lists items rarity?
