I dont think this is a bug, I think its my computer but its a problem none the less...* My colors are not right in game.** For example In shops, the buyers I am told are supposed to be written in blue and the sellers in pink.* Right?* Well, my sellers are a very bright pink and the sellers are just a slight bit more purple but unless they are directly beside wach other, I cant tell the difference.* Same for the names over the characters heads.* In party they all look the same color yet Im told that some are supposed to be blue :(
I'm sure its not a game issue cause it seems to be fine for everyone else.* But if someone could help me fix my settings I would greatly appreciate it.* Makes me wonder what other colors Im missing out on.* ALL the monsters are the same color.... as far as their name tags.* Is that for everyone?* or just me?

ok so I meant the sellers are very bright pink and the buyers are slightly more purplish... but either way I can't tell the difference unless they are beside each other.* I can't tell the difference in the monsters... until I select one.* then when the are selected and I can see their status... Up there where their name is, that is the correct colors but otherwise I can't.* I know its not a major issue to some people... but I can't understand why this keeps getting ignored.* Surely theres a graphics genius out there somewhere...

Is this what you are talking about? If so: I have the same problem and would like to know how to fix it as well.

Great screen shot!
A picture is worth a thousand words.
That is exactly what I see too.
It happened when the last patch was installed.
Except for the landscape everything looks flat and cell shaded with that pixelized black outline around everything.
I tried to set the anti-aliasing but it has no effect and it looks exactly the same on both of my PCs and my laptop as well so I know that it is not the graphics drivers.
If that is what they intended to do it looks absolutely awful and if it is not what they intended to do then it is most definitely a bug and it happened with the last patch.

I have two different computers, and it is fine on one... but on the other... is this. Some people say it's my graphics card, but it worked perfectly fine before! I don't know what the problem is. We need some more help here please! It can be quite difficult at times to read some of the text because of this.

I have the same problem.
But apparently no one seems to care about this issue, because the majority of people don't experience the problem. My computer has this issue but my wife's computer doesn't. I built both computers from the ground up.
Is anyone who has this problem as well also running windowsblinds, by chance?

My sister-in-law had the same problem with her laptop.
Try this:
1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Go to the menu Tools -> Internet Options
3) Then select the Advanced Tab
4) Scroll down to the Multimedia section in the Settings list
5) Turn off "Always use ClearType for HTML"
6) Click the OK button and close Internet Explorer
You will most likely have to restart Fiesta for the change to take effect.

Unfortunately doing that didn't work for me, but it did lead me to the solution!
You were absolutely right, it was cleartype, I disabled cleartype by going to display properties > Appearance > effects > and changing "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" from cleartype to standard and it worked!
I like my cleartype fonts, but it's not hard to switch back and forth when i want to play Fiesta!
Thanks so much, amazing that you could offer the reasonably simple solution when the problem seems to have totally stymied all the techs and game moderators!

Have you checked on your computer mode to switch between "true" and "high" color?
You can do this by right-clicking on your background, going to "display options", and changing setting in there.
You can also change screen size there- I would keep with the size you currently have, just to not mess up Fiesta.

It didn't seem to have anything to do with the amount of colors in the palette or the resolution or the screen size or whatever. I had the exact same issue as in the screenshot and turning off cleartype fixed them.
The problem shown in the screenshot was not color related per se. All the colors were fine except for the FONTS. This seemed to be because there was two instances of every floating font.. one on top of the other, that caused blurriness and discoloration. Turning off the cleartype fonts on my desktop fixed this, in the game.
Unfortunately there were seem to have been lots of other posts regarding this same problem at different times (most several months old) and they all seem to have had little success being resolved. I hope those people are still playing and searching for a solution so they can get it fixed.
