Error Logging In

Ok...


I participated in CB1, downloaded the new client/game.. uninstalled the old one... installed new one yesterday... it was working fine yesterday.. but after the new mini patch on monday(today) i was unable to log in... when i start the launcher. it brings the news/update info page to a "page cannot be displayed" after takeing 2-3 mins loading to that page... after that i was able to type in user name and pw but after i click play, after about a min, it gives me an error saying:


"There was a problem logging you in.


Either your username or password was incorrect, or you are not authorized to participate in the closed beta.


(0-0: The Server Returned an Unknown Error (wininet:0).) "


any ideas why?

( and ofcourse i typed the right pw/username... or else i wouldnt have be able to log into the site...)


tried changeing pw... didnt work...





Edit: ok... wth.... it works now...

Edit: ok now that i logged out.... i cant log bak in... get the same error again...

yea...same ezact thing happened to me....i deleated the launcher...and re-installed it....but then that patch thing came up and i could ent log in ....plzzz help us!!

Please try again after 1pm PDT today. We are re-patching the game, and this should correct the problem.

Alright, try, try again. When you launch the game it should patch it again. If you continue to be unable to login, please post back.

Sorry to tell you....but it still dont work....i started it up...and xtrap loaded up....and then the screen came up...then it patched...then the login widow came back up then it went to "page cannot be displayed" and then when i tryed to login .....

i am curently reinstalling it...maybe that will help....

Everything about your account checks out as far as I can tell. If reinstall does not work, we'll look deeper into it.

I did reinstall it.....and no....still does not work....i dont really want to do this cuz it will take a good hour or too...but do you think that downloading a fresh copy of the client.....maybe check up on that and let me know.....


I recorded my problem..but*i cant upload it to any sites....cuz its too big...do you have a email...i could send it to you??

Same thing is happenig to me, for some reason it won't let me log on anymore, and I get the same error message.

Hi Nameless,


Could you possibly email a file from the Outspark folder on your hard drive to us for review?


If you can, please use WinZip to zip up the C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\rb folder (just the folder called "rb", its about 3Mb) and email it to:


support@outspark.com


We'd like to take a look at it and see if something damaged it.

@Nameless and teoket....my advice is to do what ever you can like re-installing it..and try redownloading a fresh copy of the client......and if NONE of that works....then then only thing that helped me was formatting my computer....now...i dont recomend formatting your computer unless you try everything and nothing else works...and if you really love outspark and plan to really stick around for a while.....and if its not your computer or your really not sure how to do it...your should ask a parent or guardian....but just to let you know why formatting is such a big deal...is because when you do it...it puts your computer back to were it was when you first got it...so any games or anything you have downloaded since then..will be deleted......and thats all i know.....so keep me posted...

i would also wait if i were you befor you do anything dratice like formatting your computer...because i do belive that the Technical Team is working on a solution for this problem right now.....
