Hi. im new to this game and by mistake i chosed potion production. is there a way to change it?

if not then is it useful at all?
what should i combine it with?
im a level 13 cleric, is it useful for them?

Unfortunately, there is no way to change it. Unless they released something in the cash shop without letting me know about it(?) Either way, making potions is a great way to earn money as tier 1 potions easily sell from 35c-40c. If by "combine" you mean "is there another thing that would help improve my potion making?" then I would say item decomp. That is because if you train it enough you can take your tier 2 tender meats, spirit fruits, and magic crystals and turn them into materials for your tier 1 potions.

But I would definitely sell potions and use healing stones to train instead.

Pot prodution is a good skill. However, the best way to explore skills is to work with three chars, so you cover all types of skills. Dont worry to level all chars, skill prodution does not have anything to do with char level, but only skill level. However, one char must level doing quests, so you get enough 'Fame' to buy alchemy stones in Elderine.

The problem to choose decomposition now is that you need a lot of skill to make it usefull, so I would choose scroll prodution. You will be able to make your own basic pots and scrolls. Make another char and give him stone prodution. When you reach lvl 20, the moment you will begin to get tier2 mats, create a new char to compose&decompose things.

Go to the mines in FT or SB, get copper ore and compose them to copper, then decompose again to copper ore, go and back many times, you will raise you compose/decompose skill fast. After reaching the ability to compose decompose dusts and meat, your line of scroll/pot production will skyrocket.
