X trap virus

I read in a thread somewhere, which i wasnt able to find again, that someone got a virus from Xtrap. Although im not sure if this is true, since this is SoS's protection, i still wnna get some answers from the forum's community. So people, is it possible to actually get a virus from xtrap? if so, how do i prevent this cuz i only have 1 pc :(

By guess is he had troubles with Xtrap and had to close down his antivirus program (these can sometime show up as 'bad' to Xtrap cause of them meddling with memory fragments). And with no virus protection up n running, he got a virus from anywhere.
