Should I feel bad?

Ok, so I blocked this other player because I thought he was trying to scam me out of my weapon. At first, it seemed he just wanted to talk to me, so I did. Then it turned into "do you have anything I can sell?" Well, I offer alchemy stones and he starts a trade. Then, out of the blue he asks if he can see my weapon in the trade box. I ask why, and he says to just look at it. :confused: I sense a red flag and I cancel party, trade, and I block him. Do you think I did the right thing?

Maybe he just wanted to see it. If you didn't press the lock button and accept, he couldn't have done much. If he was going to beg, you could tell him to go raise money himself. beggars are never fun -.-

Well, yeah he was asking me for silver and copper. Plus, he was talking in 1337 chat, which gets annoying. I just didnt want to come off as a jerk, and I didnt know if it was a tactic of scammers.
