are the servers location specific? or are they there just to spread out the bandwith?

No idea on the bandwith, im not too geeky, but they aren't location specific. Pick which ever one you want. Teva is the best in my opinion, but it does end up crashing a lot because it's so awesome. We take the other servers down with us too sometimes.
