I have seen an influx of threads on the general forums attempting to report suspected hacking activity. Although we all agree such actions should definitely be reported, I am here to advise you all that posting this information in the forums is at best incorrect and at worst a possible violation of the forum rules and regulations.

Firstly, you may not post personal information on these forums. This includes links to non OutSpark-related 3rd party sites, links to any 3rd party site which may reveal personal information (MySpace, etc.) and especially personal emails. Each of these is a violation which may result in an infraction against your account.

Secondly, the GMs are busy dealing with in-game issues and may not see your posts here as quickly as we would like. With this in mind, there are two proper ways to report suspicious in-game activity.

Take screenshots of the activity and send them via private message to a GM. Please be sure to include a detailed explanation of the issue at hand.

Take screenshots and send a detailed email to service@outspark.com. These emails will be reviewed by the CSRs (Customer Service Relations managers) and investigated accordingly.

That’s it – there is no 3rd option that I am aware of. Any posts or threads found to contain information which may be deemed as a violation will be removed.

Again, we all want to get rid of hackers, bots, etc. and it would behoove us all to report them correctly the first time rather than risk putting yourself in violation by posting inappropriate information on the forums.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Thank you.
