*** is this reward takin back this is an outrage we worked hard to get that quest done, and now ur taking xp back thats a problem and we need a solution the people ned to speak out and let outspark know thats unjust we worked are butts off and spent enough on stones to complete the quest so wat if we aint gonna be getting it later down the road i want my xp to stay i only got almost 80% of a lvl from it and i take alot xp to lvl as it is

well I'm kinda glad to see them remove the quest from being assigned. But reversing our efforts because of their mistake isn't really cool. Especially to level 60-78 players who can easily complete that quest solo, and where the quest wouldn't bring them 30+ instant levels, lol.

I'm even more sad to see the entire Burning Rock area go. FoS was getting really crowded, and 7x players really needed a place to grind (I am 68 and it was a great place to solo or duo grind).

i myself duo with a lvl 59 cleric and i tanked the 60 fire spirits and i earned it an ddid my fair share of dmage to win the reward taking it will cause chaos on ur part outspark u guys keep making mistakes and the people have to keep losing out

just like on timers when maintenance patch ruined the server and i lost 2 days on my 7 day items from cash shop and all u said was sorry we cant do anything about but thast not good enuff my hard earned cash that supported your company was wasted and then not comprimised with something of equal value

So even if it is bonus exp for a day or even a week, its much more than any large company would do so...suck it up. Be a grown up about it. If you get all worked up about "wasting your time" why bother playing at all? Its a game to waste time with. I personally have alot of time on my hands here lately so even if I was in your shoes I'd just find another way.

But to make it on the players side I would agree to about a half exp reduction from those quest. That way you all didnt "waste" so much time. But, alas, I'm not one of the GM/Developers.

Guys , The reason why they took it off is good. It's the same as how we worked our cheeks off to get to level 30 + and spending hours of grinding but , a level one player just getting p-lvld into doing that quest getting 30 + lvl immeditly ( can't spell right now ) is unfair. I've been in your shoes countless times with other games. Yes, I did the same thing you guys are doing now, complained and threw a fit, and honestly I dont blame you. But you will eventually see that it doesnt matter. They will do as they wish, when they wish.

What I'm saying is all those people who are all angry and ticked off cause of this and are quitting shouldnt let it affect them. If they read this and conclude that you all can keep your exp and gear than more power to them. I respect them more than any other company hosting MMOs. But if they dont, the GMs still have more of a sense of humor than others so you gotta look at every situation from "all" angles. Not just one. :)

The only thing you all can do is wait and see what they do. They are just removing the quest exp and money.
if you were 39, 49,59 etc. what ever, before quest. you will sill be wearing your lvl 40, 50 weapon etc. as long as you dont take it off.

All exp you earned in burning rock outside of quest (aka mob killing) is stilly ours. they are only taking back quests

You can still use your skills you bought.

The 45s no idea.... might just take it out of your invintory, if you bought something you keep it.

If you are in a dungeon you might be ported back to town or can say in zone.. though if you are back in dungeon and leave, you cant get back in untill you gain proper level.

One again, everything you have equpit, skills, etc.. you will still have.
Just the quest rewards will be taken back....

I've seen alot of games go into production and testing in my 22 years of life and I've seen many of them fail because they gave up trying to please everyone. Its what makes the big companies such as Blizzard succeed. They ignore you and continue doing their own thing. These GMs seem to be on a more personal basis with the players than others. So support them instead of beating them with wooden spoons. Those whom had their mothers do that to them when they were younger understands that the first few swats are fine its the repeated ones that are the painful ones. xD

and then my friends help me to do it with my lvl 24 mage. 1,300k exp take it to lvl 40.i have already sold all stuff from lvl 20-30 and bought ALL skill from lvl 24-40. i spend OVER 150s on skills and 50s on stuff.
so now i will lost ALL this cash??? :eek: what abt skills i bought?
i can promise u if u delete all skills and such i will never spend a single $ in fiesta shop nor any of my friends
and i belive this will make more angry ppl more ppl quit and more ppl switch / back to others game,

Well, not that I benefitted any from the quest, but I can give my oppinion on the matter.

Honestly, this was an error...theres no denying that. BR was opened at the wrong time, and some people noticed this. What I don't get, is that people -knew- that it was opened without being mentioned in the patch notes (which meant it wasn't supposed to be released), and -still- went there, knowing they shouldn't have had access there anyway. There should be absolutely no reason as to why a person should think that their time spent in an area, which was never supposed to be opened in the first place, should reward them in any way. This would be like...having an error in your paycheck, where you got an extra 500 dollars. If you spent that money, you should be well aware that the extra 500 dollars shouldn't have been there, and will be taken back anyway (in federal cases such as this, if they aren't alerted, and the money is wrongly spent, you can infact be hit by the hard end of the law).

People should read that, and realize that it's just as much their fault as it is Outsparks(even though errors happen).

Ok not to be on the bad side, but Outspark has made a few mistakes. Also i get the fact that they are humans also. But, people have spent quite a lot of time in this. Sure grinding mob exp and items will be kept. But the thing is time was spent in this when we couldv'e spent it somewhere else. Now they are just simply going to refund. I mean I spent about 4-5 hours trying to fnish quests because I died so many times and not just for the quest but also grinding. But still time spent is really frustrating people. I mean I don't have evry day to play this game. i went form a Lv.45 Cleric(88%Exp[Had Already]) to Lv.47 and don't mind if money is taken away. But exp is hours spent just to be taken away. Outspark is you please will let us advance this one time and let it go. I'm sure it won't happen again. I just feel that mabye thsi should be forgotten. But at the same time they should let us keep at least the exp we tried hard and spent so many hours over trying to complete the missions for Burning Rock. Especially Fire Nixes. 150 of them in hours just to be simply reverted and then 60 Fire Spirits. That's a;ot to be reverted. But that's just me lol.^_^

Burning Rock quest was definitely a screwup by Outspark team and hence they should stand up like a man or lady.

You see, i can understand the removal of burning rock quest from the noobs to enter even to try. but for those lvl 50 and above, it is clearly a quest that is suitable to them and HELL I DID TANK LIKE HELL TO COMPLETE THE QUEST.

to remove even the xp from me, think about the lost of stones, scrolls, the even power lvleing pack used this is strictly unfair.

U mean to say that you guys did a BLATANT Mistake and have no guts calling it, then might as well we move to other game sites after well all point out a boycott to post to your other shareholders and investors.

Ok i do agree the removal of the xp from those below 50 are perhaps right especially for those lvl 1 who could be pllvl to mid 30 or even a lvl 26 to become lvl 41 just from one quest makes US WHOM HAS WORKED HARD ALL THESE WHILE IN LVLING DOWN RIGHT SORE.

Well everyone is just crying over lost xp, skill or what so ever, to start w/ you shouldn't be doing it anyway because its not mean for your lvl. Yeah we all know you burned the candle just to finish quest, but how about lvl 1 becoming 30. And we all know they didnt do crap, dont say you inflicked damage coz you will die in one hit. If you partyed low level to finish quest you deserved to be striped
of xp for that quest. But the griding part I disagree on that, because anyone can grind anywhere unless they cap it. If we protest on something then protest on the grinding not the quest, coz it was bugged to begin with anyway.

I think its lame there taking our exp away...its not our fault they didnt put a lvl restriction on the quest..so ofc we would bring our alts there to lvl up..or pple bring low lvl friends...they should rly take in consideration on how much we worked before wiping this all away..but ofc they dont...idk i just think its wrong

Are you insane its like cashing a million dollar tax refund check from IRS, then after a week you get a letter stating to return the money because it was a mistake. Yeah it not your fault but you know you shouldnt have cashed and spent it. Be happy their only doing that, it could be worst you know. They could be charging us monthly fee to play the game. So to sum it up for you people worldwide, welcome to the american way of doing things! Deal with it......Because its fair........

i agree! wth, y are u taking all our stuff back. This makes no sense at all, u gave us this quest how long ago, in dcember i believe, an the place opens up now!! what was the point of it, but when we do finally get the place for the quest, somethign like this has to happen. You say it was cuz of the lower lvls coming an doing the quest, but u didnt say they couldnt, if that was how u wanted it u shoulda put a lvl restriction on the quest, but NO u leave it open for all to do an then take it away cuz its not "fair" its not our fault for this problem,f this such was such a problem u should have put a lvl restriction on it, u new it was gonna b like this when u opened it(finally), of course the lower lvls were gonna swarm the place to get this done, i no i would!! Anyways, maybe next time a lvl restriction would b a better idea for this, or w.e the plan is gonna b!

Well it's obvious that exp & reward will be taken back.

Like GM SnakeEyes had said, it was a bug, BR wasn't supposed to be openned in the first place, & when that will be solved, a roll back is kinda necessary.

The roll back will just sent us back to 1-2 days ago :o... I believe that... So you don't lose so many things right? Since i think lots of ppl who are complaining here were in BR & did BR quests, but the matter was BR itself.

Well i don't say i'm glad to have a roll back, cause i've helped ppl with BR too (that's including me as well xD) & most importantly... I will need to set up Vendor & try to sell stuffs again...OMG T.T *upset*

Yeah I dont agree with this at all, I will not be lvl50 anymore when I worked hard to get there, and I dont think we should have our rewards taken away becuz of the mess up of the patch. I think another way would be take the reward away from the low lvls, that in my opinion isnt fair..Then getting so many lvls so fast, but on the other hand only getting 1 lvl with the reward I got to 50 with it, and I think the higher lvls should be able to keep there awards. Another thing that REALLY makes me mad is...I have a really nice +9 hammer, and well I almost sold it, and if I would have...when I log on I wouldnt even have a wep to use, and have to spend even more money to buy a new just to lvl 1 more time, or 2...Well I just think that this really isnt fair at all! Should be looked at some more, before being taken away from some players.

Anyway, why are you complaining about the exp or lvl? It was a glitch, a bug, & bug should be removed =D... You should have known when it'll come, roll back will happen. That's it.

To be honest I didn't do the quest :p (wanted to wait to be lvl 59 since I stil didn't reached it XD)
But Iknow that ome people reached lvl60 thx t that quest, and did their lvl up quest, so they have new equip and skills and title....
Andnow it's written thatit will be removed thy will maybe be deleveled and can't use the skils. Thinking that the quest gave approximatively 50% from lvl 59 to 60

Imagin what those peopl will feel, honestly. They will log on at lvl 59 back, can't use any lvl 60 skills.

I'm quite srry it was a mistake but the only good point was tat AEW and FOs was no as much crowded as other day. It was good to be able to kil some trumpy and stonies quitely, without any part stealing the whole spot -_-°

Burning Rock will be closed (This was not intended to be open at this time)

If you did not complete a Burning Rock quest, you are not affected.

If you completed a Burning Rock quest, below is how you are affected:
- Exp acquired while "grinding" in Burning Rock will NOT be removed
- Newly acquired Skills will not be saved if skill is above your level
- Stats will not save if your level is lower than the stats accumalated exceeds the level allowed
- Money spent on skills will be refunded.
- Armor/Weapons bought that are equipped will remain equipped and usable until un-equipped. Once un-equipped, you will be required to meet the level requirement.

We apologize for the inconvenience and lengthy maintenance but it is required in order to "make things right". As usual, we thank you for your continute patience.

This quest has been out for months now, right? The area was closed, but the quest was acceptable. If it WAS ment to have a level restriction, why didn't they catch it sooner? They've had plenty of time! The answer is simple. They're human. I get that. The problem is that they are punishing the players for THEIR mistake! We have been playing the game as it is given to us. The quest was made acceptable and we took it. I don't know how they plan on making up for it or fixing it or whatever. But what they're doing right now isn't working.

I"m kind of glad this happened. Too many people like lvl 20s paying other people to help them do the quest and lvvling from 20-40. Not fair.
