Question about gathering bar

I have read in many places (fourms, guides, etc.) that if you click on the bar as it moves under the yello line it is suppose to gather quicker. I asked a few people ingame and everyone says it means nothing. I have not notice it collecting any faster. Is it suppose to gather instantly when you click on it? Never seen that happen once. Repeatedly clicking on it has also seems to have no effect.

If this works at all (or anymore, maybe it was bugged in a patch or removed), are you suppose to click on the bar, the line, the item being gathered, the gather skill, what?!:confused:

The bar not moving is the one that you click. You have to hit is spot on otherwise it won't work.

Do you only get one chance at it or every time it passes?

I read somewhere that you have to get it on the first pass but sometimes the yellow bar is right at the begining on the far left side.

Its when the Green bar passes the Yellow bar that you click on the Yellow bar.

And as of right now, it really did kinda mean nothing, clicking it gives you the little yellow flash, but didn't do anything, it was glitched.

I think the maintenence was supposed to fix this among other things, so we can only wait... unless I missed something and the servers are up...

Actually it does work, but for me it's only like 20-30% of the time success for 'immediate gather' when the click on the bar when green is over yellow. One of the main reason it's not working the way it should is due to the lag (you would notice we get tonnes of lag, especially with the KQ window when trying to join a KQ).

Once I saw someone gathering ores like unbelievably fast rate in Golden Hill KQ, and I asked him if he was using the 'gathering pack' (the item from fiesta store that increase your gather speed by 100%), he said no...he managed to 'immediate gather' almost everytime because he doesn't get lagged.

It used to work for me. Then after a patch a few days ago it stopped working. :(
