Started out on Teva, and only recently decided to move to epith, so i havent got very far as of yet (University and overall busyness with RL stuff is partly to blame :( )

Right now im a fresh lvl 20 mage finishing my job change. Progress has been exceptionally slow, because I go out of my way to help way too many people. Its the perfect example of "Nice guys finish last" >.<, I mean, when your doing stuff like this with the limited time I can play, one can see why I wont be advancing too quickly:

1) a few gave a low level female cleric who was new to the game help with quests, and when I needed to go I have her 20 silver for free. Left me with 200 copper in my bank >.<

2) Not too long ago, i randomly gave some girl mage a free lvl 15 + 5 magic staff and levelled her to lvl 15 so she could use it

3) Gave away a +4 and +3 lvl 15 magic staff for free to some guy mages.

4) 2 days ago, a lvl 1 female archer whispered me asking how to play the game. I spent the next four hours explaining everything from moving, navigating the menus, equippinmg/unequipping, opening maps and finding questgivers, battling, levelling, how to buy/sell. EVERYTHING. My head was fried by the end and I needed a nap :P

5) Sacrificed my life to save a girl from certain death, i think she was a cleric, pity I didnt get a rez for it. I mean, I DID just suicide myself to save her life :D

6) Found a treasure chest. I called them over and let them open it. The chest dropped 2 mini pets as well as some other goods. GODAMMITT!!!!! NOOOOESS!! :( Now I know ill never find a mini pet or chest every again >.<

Started out on Teva, and only recently decided to move to epith, so i havent got very far as of yet (University and overall busyness with RL stuff is partly to blame :( )

Right now im a fresh lvl 20 mage finishing my job change. Progress has been exceptionally slow, because I go out of my way to help way too many people. Its the perfect example of "Nice guys finish last" >.<, I mean, when your doing stuff like this with the limited time I can play, one can see why I wont be advancing too quickly:

1) a few gave a low level female cleric who was new to the game help with quests, and when I needed to go I have her 20 silver for free. Left me with 200 copper in my bank >.<

2) Not too long ago, i randomly gave some girl mage a free lvl 15 + 5 magic staff and levelled her to lvl 15 so she could use it

3) Gave away a +4 and +3 lvl 15 magic staff for free to some guy mages.

4) 2 days ago, a lvl 1 female archer whispered me asking how to play the game. I spent the next four hours explaining everything from moving, navigating the menus, equippinmg/unequipping, opening maps and finding questgivers, battling, levelling, how to buy/sell. EVERYTHING. My head was fried by the end and I needed a nap :P

5) Sacrificed my life to save a girl from certain death, i think she was a cleric, pity I didnt get a rez for it. I mean, I DID just suicide myself to save her life :D

6) Found a treasure chest. Heh, I used to be like that, you know....nice. But a hard dark road with much pain and suffering has changed me. Now I'm....SUPER NICE MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

But seriously, I used to help out low lvls like that but as they learn more about the game and get better at it. They start to ks you and spam you with messages -.-
So now if someone asks me for something without introducing themselves (so i know they are a sane person) i won't reply and just continue on my way. If they don't have the decency to say "Excuse me, Hi, i'm new to this game. Can you help me please" and instead say "WHERE DO I BUY STUFF" or "CAN I HAVE 5 HUNDRED MILLION GOLD", i say let them fall out of atree and break their neck.

Having played as a cleric for a long time, I am used to ungrateful morons. However, none have been too ungracious. It's usually mages who are a little too big for their fireballs. Being used to doing serious damage, I imagine that barely scratching an enemy's paint job is a bit...well humbling. So when they bolt, I usually pull the enemy off of them.
