you can find alot of YMWS or Xens Stones at Mrysta Hill if you're 30-38 level.

Random drops. You have to go through a lot of monsters to find one. Not sure if it's worth it though. >x<;

The old pets (a.k.a the poyos/pokos/pokus) just tag along... They do nothing whatsoever.
But the new pets (a.k.a battle buddies) are supposed to help you, like boosting stats and maybe helping fight...
And in case you want to know how to get these pets... The old ones require 5 Yellow Watermelons and 1 Juice, the new ones require A LOT of other things... See this guide for new pets (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42520) if you want to know. :D
Oh and about the YWM location... You can find it anywhere. All monsters can drop it, but it's rare.
