Strange,mean and lonely

Strange: A little bit ago i was doing a quest and this guy walks up and starts following me around, now he dident interfer with my qeust he wasent ks'ing or anything so i just left him alone and let him follow me around,but then 20 minets later the guy is still following me around so a turn to him and ask "Do you need me for something?"...he waves at me and then goes back to being his silent self.

Mean:Ive noticed alot of the newer players (aka noob, aka me XD) are getting mean,im walking around forest of tide (or something like that) and i ask this guy if he wants to party and he starts yelling at me "Can't you tell im busy i dont have time to be talking with dumb *&^% noobs like you!"

Lonely:This game is kinda lonely people ive run into so far hardly every want to party or if i ask them something like "hey where's blue crabs" (that is just a example) they wont say anything and just walk away...

As to the mean part, you can't help that there are 8 year old kids who have social problems, it's just best to ignore them.

Some people are loners, that's what gets them to play computer games, and they don't react well to people in game or in real life. If you need help, theirs always the forums, filled with friendly helpful people, or you can shout in the game using /s and usually at least 2-3 people will answer.

I think, not everyone finds it easy to fight, keep watch on HP and talk at the same time... especially if they belong to a guild, they could be in another chat...

So there are many reasons to why u're not getting an answer, dont get offended and ask someone else :D

And that mean guy.. yeah he's jsut mean.. ur turn to ignore him back~

Everytime I asked someone for help they answered my question, my guild leader even bought me 2 cleric skills at 20 cause I didn't have cash for them :p

Yeah, fiesta is getting populated by strange and mean people and loners. That person who was being mean to you is one of them. They are probably angry or dumb and they put all their rage into the game, thinking that there's no harm in it and people can't attack back in the way that can happen irl. It's probably a personal problem or that they are just very bad tempered normally, idk, you decide, no-one has a problem except them. But yes, it's quite sad really, i hope this game doesn't lose the good community...

Eh, what jerks lol usually if people ask me to party and I dont want to, a simple "no im soloing" does it... I dont understand why people write extra to put the other person down.

I'm ignoring other posts in this thread(simply for the fact that other posters have made such wonderful replies, and kudos to you all for that), but this one in particular intrigues me enough, that I gotta answer.

I play MMO's as a loner(typically), in that I almost always prefer to solo. It's not that I lack the friendly capacity or anything, it's just that, it's easier for me to die, and blame myself, then die around others and start believing they messed up.

I'm good at holding that in if it ever becomes an issue, but it's just one of those reasons I prefer to play my roles in individualist modes, it makes the fault of my indiscretion fall on my shoulders alone. =P

My one rL friend that plays this game is exactly like that, he will party/hunt with only me. He can't fathom how I can join a guild, talk to other people, join parties etc but that's just me and for him he has no problems with having friends in rL or whatever, he just doesn't like to rely on people he doesn't know

Strange, loner & mean...

I guess this depends on the situation... Well, in my part maybe.

Lonely because when you are working abroad, its kinda hard to find friends which are actually english literate (im working in the middle east BTW)... But in-game, i get a lot of invites, which sometimes a bother or annoying. But that is a sign that im not a loner. True i solo a lot but, its more fun when you party and talk about something.

Mean, hmmm... this is a tough one coz i dont really find myself mean... i guess those who are higher than me (no offense)... But i give help whenever & whoever is in need both in-game & real life... newbies liked me coz i help them complete their mara quest or to kill the jewel grave robber:D

Strange... maybe the good answer for this is that an adult playing a game which is intended for young people... But my true reason for playing is just killing time and still having fun talking with other players:D
