Exp. Booster 1 Day Duration...Again

I've searched and so far not found anything definitive. So I'm going to try again...

If I purchase an Exp. Booster 1 Day, is that 24 hrs. of in-game time (yay!) or does it continue to run while I'm logged out too (boo!)?

I'm clear on item duration (7 day, 30 day), just not Exp. Boosters.

Please respond if you know for sure.

It lasts only while your playing the the game. You can use the 100% and 50% one at the same time for better exp. too.
