I am not entirely sure this is the right and proper place for this but I do not think it belongs in the bug section of the forums.
As it currently stands with the Kingdom Quests not everyone gets credit for their job done.
My experience was with the King Slime KQ. We had a full and beautiful couple of runs up to and including the slaying of the King, Queen, and their annoying courtisans that decide to come out of the woodwork.
My quest log had me at the third stage of the King Slime series where I was asked to kill the king and queen. I did two runs through in an attempt to get credit for killing both of the royals but for some reason I did not get any credit whatsoever. I did, however, get the nifty little chest but that is beside the point and not the topic I am attempting to address.
Now, I am not certain how credit is accrued but I would think it is one of two things:
1) Your parties percentage of damage done to the king and/or queen.
or
2)* Your party lands the killing blow.
The fact that I had done two runs through and not gotten credit has put me off of doing kings quests or at least getting the quest itself from whichever NPC wishes to hand them out.
The way I think it should be done is that EVERYONE in the instance that is alive at the time of the mobs death (whether or not dead folks get the credit is a loaded debate in and of itself) should get credit for their deaths. Maybe the instance can be treated as they are in other games. Perhaps the instance can cause the parties to become a "raid" party only in the fact that everyone shares credit.
Well, I've prattled on long enough and this is probably a bit winded.* So I bid you a·dieux.
