Installation Bug

I downloaded the .exe file ... but when I try to install, it says:





"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download, or a virus.


You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.


It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED)."

that's happened to many people already.i rememebr someone saying to try downloading it again and if says the sa message its not the download its somethign wrong the the downloading PROCESS its self.

Hmm ... I suppose. I already tried to download it over again and I still got the same thing.

try starting download and leave computer i did that after 4 failed downloads and it worked

Alot of the time its because the information you are downloading comes in chunks, so if you are running another application or surfing around the net, the bigger the file the better chance of a corruption.





I've tested it out before, 2 different computers as well, with the same file, one would be corrupt the other wouldn't be, So If you are having connection issues this could be a problem, or if you are running other informations as well.





Try this.





1) Try downloading with nothing else running.


2) Reboot your system RIGHT before starting the downloading.


3) If all else fails, try to see if you can't download from another system all together.
