Hey everyone, I would say the event went rather well. Everyone seemed to have fun and got something for showing up. I just wanted to thank everyone who showed up, we appreciate it so much!

Somehow, I feel the need to explain - at least roughly - why Eastern is celebrated... I hope, it is not illegal to explain religion-related things in this forum, but choclates and presents should not be the only thing that people know about it.

Easter is celebrated by Christians because of the ressurection of Jesus (if someone don't know who he is: Christians believe that he is the God's son, Moslems consider him to be a prophet). That was it, in the main.
Christians believe in his resurrection after being dead for three days and celebrate this day.

The Old English word "Eastre" refers to a pagan goddess. She was celebrated even before Christian Easter.

So you can either consider what you've just read or go on with eating chocolates brought by a gigantic rabbit.
Personally, I prefer to continue with the latter (the last thing? Oh help, my English gets worse every day...)

Pshh, what poor explinations of where easter came from...what really happened, was the terrorist bunny rabbits planned on destroying their arch-enemies, the chickens, by replacing their eggs with explosives. Yet due to a flaw in the bunny rabbits' intelligence, they didn't realize that their formula to make the explosives was actually a recipe for delicious chocolate, which was swapped in place for the explosives recipe by the famous chicken, Buck Buckaw. The chickens plan on using this recipe in the future to exterminate humanity...but thats another story. (yay for boredom in class, it has created a story which makes no sense!)

Oh, about the event...sounds fun and possibly chaotic, I'll be there :P
