I am not saying that my accoun has been hacked. But as a new player, I would like to know what preperations and safeguard we have against hackers. Besides the rules of Dont give out your info, I.e phone number, ip address, passwords or usernames email addy's etc. What precautions have you all taken?

They do, telling everyone and spilling the beans would give the actual intruders an advantage then. Which would make the accounts not to safe. :p

Honestly though? Half the time accounts are taken over it's because its user did something not to smart (that's most of the time, not all the time)

Please leave the posts to just one instead of making several, it saves the CLs/GMs from having to do the deed of editing/deleting the thread.

The biggest thing is to remember this: YOU can protect your account far greater than they can. Granted, they have anti-hack software and safeguards, but if you do the following you will help ensure your account is safe:

Create a strong password, aplhanumeric preferred - something easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess
Never give that password out to anyone - even GMs If anyone ever asks you for your password, walk away and report them with a screenshot. GMs and outspark staff do not nheed your password and CLs have no access to your accounts anyway so they, especially, should never ask for your password.
Never go to or use gold spammer sites or sites offering to powerlevel/sell you in-game silver for real cash. 1: this will get you banned and 2: you expose yourself to a hacker's dream - your bank account

Do the above and a few other common sense items and you'll be fine.

As for this thread, I am merging it with your poll thread as we do not need multiple threads on a single topic. Thanks. :D

Yes, the bank account fiasco is a major pain to work out with all the phone calls to your bank and the canceling of cards.:( NOT FUN.
