Crappy Community

Hello I think this community is ok, but you put way too much emphasis on your high lvl players and not enough focus on new members. Are shiki and enix and the other high lvl players enough to keep this game going. No, it's getting new players that want to spend time and money here that keeps the game alive. If you treat new players like they don't matter then they will be inclined to just delete their account. When you get ignored by GM's and high lvl players tell ya ta **** off, or if ya post in threads and people call ya N00b and the rest, it makes me wonder why I still play this game.

I have not seen many posts with mean people? I started this game about a week or two ago...I feel that I have been very welcome into the community. Don't get discouraged.

(i don't give a poop (< LOL I SAID POOP!) about most of the high levels (shiki and enix for example)... Don't get me started on what i could say >.>)

Ok reading your comment I never seen a GM ignore a player useless its tones of people asking them questions at once and even then they do the best they can to answer and make the community and nice n safe place and as of enix and shiki you would rarely see them unless your in edine or at a event and no they do not make the community for the most part to me they are just a very small part of it and also once you get up in lvl you tend to only talk to people around your lvl because of partying/drops from higher lvl mobs/ and exp share if you have a higher lvl person in your party they will suck up all the exp but to end my comment to the tread the community of S.O.S is still new and growing and I think its a great community like every other game you have your nice and rude people (as far as those rude people ignore them its as simple as that really)

This is an example of how responsive the GMs are.

On the day of Adeline's party, I bought a tuxedo just so I could get in. It started at 6:30. I had to go to the grocery store. I got on my comp at 7:10. PMed rider in game and he gladly welcomed me into the party. It made me very happy. I thought no one would let me in. I bet tons of people were PMing rider to let them in. He took the time to check and see if I had a tux on and then let me in. Thanks again rider!

As of shiki and enix , two people don't make a community. And high lvl's don't ignore people its how you come off to others. If u come off rude and annoying do you expect them to answer you?

On another note the Sos is community is still very new but growing well, and is a great community of people that are helpful and friendly.try and be more positive and friendly to people and maybe it wont be so hard for you.

The only time I ignore people is if they are being annoying, such as demanding money/items, asking you to buddy/party/trade them right when they see you with no introduction. This just about what every player considers annoying.

If a person asks a question in a polite manner I will do my best to answer or refer them to where they can get an answer. From my experiance (been playing since the beggining of OB) the comunity is great. There are always going to be n00bs out there, no-matter where you go. Another thing that has happened, is that all the more experianced players have moved to Essene. Now in Brynhild it is very hard to find a experianced player to answer questions.

As for the high level players, how do you think they got to there high levels? They don't sit around in town, they go out for hours on end and grind grind grind. Most of them are willing to help polite people and are nice people, but they are busy and don't want to be bothered by a n00b asking them to give them money, items, or asking them n00bish wuestions.

The GMs also don't respond to n00bish players. I'm friends with Murdock and Rider. I'm not insanely high leveled or buy sparkcash items. I try to be a nice guy and not get mad about them not responding because they are busy.

What I'm saying is to not be a n00b and you will find friends and people willing to help you.

I wonder what do you expect the high level people to do? ^^'
They usually are in other maps and rarely see the new players...at least some.
Actually, no ideas...I usually don't feel the need to bother them at all...
(but I'm a freak of nature anyway)
And about the GMs... I'm glad I haven't had any problem with the game so far,
they must be incredibly busy. I hope you'll solve your misunderstandings soon and
keep playing.

Hearing the name Enix just makes me wanna train more =P. I always help low levels out if they ask. The other day i was helping a low level, level up.

Sorry but I have been ignored standing right in front of them with no one around and waiting thinking they have tons of pm's and whispers. Waiting for 20 min with no response you learn to just walk away.

Second the higher levels think their sheet don't stink and you have to learn to ignore that. Sad thing is the community itself jumpin on them like they are gods didn't help their swelled heads. I could care less about those cats. I am worried about myself and I am very helpful to our new players.

on trying to respond
when rider pops up he has like 30 people attacking him with questions lol
he usualy awnsers them all.

and yeah people shouldn't look up to the higher lev people as "Gods"
but as inspiration to know u can do it to.

Gm's have yet to say anything on it , wich is kinda upsetting but nothing can be done but try and fix it on your own or wait for them to give you an answer.

They are more then aware of it, and are attempting to work on it we just need to wait for an ETA on it.

and i agree with you ferria, Gm's get plenty of tells when ingame. And people do need to relise.. when your getting 20 whispers at a time.. it's hard to get to every single one and about 80% of them are stupid and meaningless whispers as asking where to get YWM or if the Gm can give them free items.

I come from world of warcraft and being in one of top end raiding guilds on my server.. and not even being a gm u constant tells =/ from random people all day.. especially standing around major cities >.< and i know its hard to answer everyone because alot of people don't approach u correctly.

All in all people just need to be understanding, that Gm's don't ignore people purposely im sure of that knowin a few rl friends of mine who are Gm's of other games. They do their best to get to everyone and.. if u need an answer then you can Pm em on the forums.. or even ask a more exp, player and im sure they can answer it for you.

No, this community is so not focused on the high levels xD Most of the high levels, though, are extremely nice people and have been here and while and so we've all made friends with them and stuff xD

That's why they get so much attention. Cause they have a lot of friends. And depending on what question you're asking, yeah, we're gonna call you a noob xD Cause like Ferria said, if you repeatedly spam "Where do I find ywm!?!?!?!?!?!" then you ARE a noob xD

Most of the threads in this forum have answered any questions you could possibly come up with. People don't realize there's this new invention called a search engine, so we're forced to answer the same question over and over and over again because people don't know how to search. So if you have a REAL question, then you can ask it, no problem. But if it's already been answered 50 times, then we don't have time for you.

Sorry to sound harsh, but that's the way life goes >w<
