starting a cleric

im starting a cleric tank ive never had one before...

any tips??

while I just read those guides I don't think they're very good :)

as a lvl 11 cleric I was out @ sea of greed killing boogies getting like 40-50ish xp for each boogie kill. Sure takes longer than killing hobs, and you gotta heal yourself, but heck, it's so worth it.

(just don't forget I had increased defense + my buffs on)

when I hit lvl 15 I walked over to the far end of SoG and started farming little lizardmen, all while doing KQs when I could, getting 60ish xp / lizardmen and torn leather & SBL so I could boost my scroll production to a maximum.

Just saying - it's definately not worth it to go to "normal level" places when you're a cleric and can heal yourself 24/7 :)

Increase STR and END for damage and hp best way to tank is to have alot of HP and DMG as well as hitting VERY quickly.And also I think you get DEF outa END.

Im a 5x mage and when im the clank for the PT it do okay, my build is STR and END focused pretty even too. you really need to build end and use heal to hold agro. since we cant taunt our heals are what you really need to spam...

I have 20 somthing points on end and str so I can take a hit but in my opinion if your in a PT as a cleric i dont like to tank >< but if you want to tank your gonna need END and good gear, not cheap gear but end gear so as soon as you get cash id look for 44- 60 gear with end the 44-50 gear is HARD to find so look early I got all my 50 gear by lvl 53 but even then some of it was just average. Youll need to find END gear for those lvls and fork out some money for it >< people over charge
