Playing with firewall...

Is there a way to play with my firewall active? I tried running the game after disabling my firewall, then reactivating it, and it disconnected me.


I've tried adding the launcher program to my list of accepted programs, but it doesn't seem to let it through anyways.


I'd hate to leave myself vulnerable, just to be able to play.


*Any solutions?

Hey lordmyrth, i see you are able to login successfully (from looking at our authentication server logs) are you still having trouble being disconnected?

Yes, I was able to log in without my firewall up. However, if I try and log in with it active beforehand, or try and activate it while in game...I get disconnected if I am in game or am unable to connect at all outside of it.


 


Any suggestions?

Which firewall software do you have installed?

I'm using Zonealarm. I've gone under the Program list, in there, and added Outspark.exe, but it's failing to show up on my list. If I'm not doing it correctly, do you think you could offer step by step instructions on how to add the program correctly?
