How do you get more abilites?

I just started out earlier today (august 2nd since its past midnight now) and I can't figure it out


How do you get more abilities, I'm a mage, level 4 and I only have 1 spell which is the attack spell you start out with.

Speak with Ruby the Skill master in Roumen.


If you hit the M key on your keyboard and mouse over the various NPC's you can see where they are all located.
