This sounds like a display related issue. Try either: Making sure your ATI Catalyst contols are set for "basic settings", like Anti-Alaising set for Application Controlled, that kind of thing.

Altnernately, ATI did release new Catalyst driver about 2 weeks ago, that fix numereous issues in many games. It is generally a good idea to run the latest avaialble official drivers for your video device, so unless you have done so recently, try downloading/installing the latest drivers for the Radeon X1300 from ATI's web site. Be sure to follow their installation instructions, which ususally include removing the driver you have right now before isntalling the new one.

Please let us know how it goes.

you mean like switch "Plug and Play Monitor on RadeonX1300 Series" to "(Default Monitor) on Radeonx1300 Series Secondary"

cause if you dont, i've lost you. im not the best with computers

Any way you could give us simple instructions on how to fix this problem?

It's possible that the GM's don't know how to fix this, because I've seen at least four people (not including me) that have had this problem, and have no had a response yet.

@ Vulture - No, not the Plug and Play monitor driver, that is fine...I am referring to the video driver software that runs your ATI Radeon X1300 video card.

Updating drivers is a reality of owning a computer, and should usually be done on a regular basis, especially on a system on which many new games are being played. ATI updated their drivers for the Radeons about 2 weeks ago, and if you check the release notes, it fixes many problems with lost of other games. This is normal, which is why it is important to check for new drivers now and then, especially if you are having problems with a game.

Based on your description of the problem (game tries to start, gets a black screen, crashes) my first suggestion is to update the software for the video card. The problem sounds as if it may be related to the game and your videocard not communicating properly.

You can download the current version of that software from ATI's web site ("http://ati.amd.com/index.html") ...go to Drivers and Software>Download a driver...put in your information (Win XP Pro>Radeon>X1300 series) and hit "go", which will take you to the driver download page. You should update to the current "Catalyst" driver version 7.7.

Download the driver and pu tit on your desktop. Before installling it, it is very important that you Read and Follow ATI'S Installation Instructions ("http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&ques tionID=20870")

After you sucessfully update the driver, make sure all other programs are shut off (CTRL-ALT-DEL to see Task Manager>Applications Tab...End Task on anything you see) and then try Fiesta again.

Let us know how it goes!
